The PROBLEM is I cannot access my site anymore for last 3 days when I am accessing it through LAN.

Then i tried through modem and easily accessed the site.

So it is a problem in my LAN. Is it anything related to DNS settings? What's the problem?

I also learned that it can be for some malware present in my PC, for which I formatted my entire D: drive.

But still I cannot access my site through the LAN.

What i think you need to do is set up the DNS server you want to contact.

Goto the DNS Tab, and Add a DNS Server, 192.168.0.1

I did not create a 90x90 as you requested because that dimension changes the aspect ratio, the ratio of height/width, from the original and this tends to degrade image quality. So, 90x83 has the same aspect ratio as the original, and so does 70x65.

I just bought a Canon iP1700 printer, it comes with TWO INK cartidges (color/black). Only recently someone told me that there are both Revision A and Revision B (Rev) motherboards and processors.

You can not mix A with B and not expect compatability problems, according to the person whom I spoke with. Is this true? If so, why is this? And what are the consequences?

Qeaustion: After a website loads it's self to my computer [WINDOWS XP Home SP2] the PACKETS keep coming and going even after i put the firewall to "Block All Activity". Im trying to convert an audio into waveformat by using winamp. Ive read that inorder to do this you need to go to preference within winamp and select nullsoft Disk Writer plugin and HIT configure. Maybe a naive question, but i don't understand why most NET traffic seems to end early in the evening (i LIVE in New England too) when people would presumably have more free time to be online.

I have a compaq DESKTOP, just got hi-speed cable, I was browising internet, but all of a sudden when I click the launch internet explorer icon, the default web page (MSN) comes up but then dissapears. to access internet I open a folder then manually type in the internet address. From this open page if i try to open a new window it dispalys an ERROR message with the following error log

For example ive already got one bluetooth dongle in the laptop, would it be possible to buy anther, stick it in the back of the P.C and then transfer data, music, pictures etc etc via the dongles??

ChrisOk guys scrap that QUESTION i gave you, i know the awnser, its yes. Ok well i have naother one. Whilst using a program i use to manage my Sony Erriccson W810i i reaslied it wasnt connecting, its becuase im not using the cable but im using the bluetooth. So on the Microsoft 'Help and Support' I searched for how to configure my bluetooth with my laptop. So basicaly it tells me to click on this link which is labled 'Bluetooth Devices' which is also acessable in te controll pannel, but when i click nothing happens, and when i go into the control pannel its not there! So basicaly what im asking is, where can i find this 'Bluetooth devices' ?!?!

ChrisYou might need to install the drivers that came with the Bluetooth device.

OR perhaps you can find them under "Wireless connections" in the control panel where you can also configure Infra-red.I have installed the drivers.
As for the second one i cant find 'wireless connections'. But when i goonto 'Netowrk Connections it finds a Bluetooth DUN Connection (which is dial up apparently). It also finds local area conenction 3, which is my bluetooth as well. So has it done what 'Bluetooth Devices' would have done for me anyway, had i had the chance to find it?

Is this the correct forum? Does anyone know anything about Xerox Phasers? I have a xerox PHASER 8400 where the paper is sticking to the drum on every color print. I say color, because it doesn't stick if I can get a cleaning PAGE to GO through. But on the first page with ink (wax) it jams up. The paper is supposed to glide along the drum and exit through the assembly, but instead, it sticks to the drum and wraps all around it. I've cleared the printer for SCRAP paper, replaced the maintenance kit and verified all parts move appropriately. I can't FIGURE out why it continues to take the paper.

Any suggestions?when did it start doing this??How recently has this printer had a new drum/fuser unit? How old is it?

while INADVERTENTLY holding down the shift key too long while writing an email in aol, a box popped up indicating when doing so for at least 8 SECONDS, i'd have to choose one of three options. without reading my choices, i clicked OK. now it takes at least a full SECOND to type one character/letter. does anyone know how to de-activate this feature?

I am working with interlacing photos for 3D lenticular pictures. I am having trouble getting the exact image that I create to print with out the image software altering the image. You need to have an exact copy of the created image printed on PAPER. If it is off just a little then you LOOSE the flip or 3D affect. Here's one Google find: Brief description of lenticular technologyWhat most people don't realize is that most picture programs will fit the picture to the paper. This modification is so slight that you wouldn't even recognize that it happened. If you are interested in lenticular printing you could go and download "Magic Interlacer light" from http://www.promagic.net/. If you don't have any lenticular SHEETS you wont be able to make any 3d or flip pictures, but you would get an understanding of what it is and how it is done. This program is free to try out, which is good enough just to check it out. Another good site to check out is: http://www.microlens.com/ and go to the lenticular help button.Quote

"...downloading programs (not connected to internet)". What do MEAN by downloading if not connected to the Internet?

What OS? What version of email program and web browser? Some info about security settings in browser and email program. Using a firewall? Anti-virus program? Spyware removal tools?They are most likely pictures that weren't attached properly to the e-mail messaage...CONTACT the senders.

Windows keeps track of programs you've recently RUN or documents you've opened etc. For instance if you GO to Start > My Recent Documents you'll see a list of documents you've recently opened. I am new here & HOPE someone here can help me. When I closed my DVD tray after inserting a disk it popped open again. After a few more attemps with the same results I removed the disk and when I closed the tray it opened again. I restarted my computer hoping this would fix the problem but it didn't work. The tray closes when I start my computer then opens by itself & stay's open when I SHUT down the computer. I went into the control panel and checked the system properties of this DEVICE and it shows that"This device is WORKING properly". If I go into my computer and click on this device's icon, I get the message "E:\ is not accessible The device is not ready" I don't know what ELSE to try. I have a Dell Dimension XPS T500 , I am running Win 98, and the factory installed DVD is a Toshiba DVD-rom SD-M1202 . Does anyone here know how to get it working properly :-? CD drive trays are pressure sensitive. This is why you can press lightly on an open tray and it will close.

But because your's is opening i suspect there might be a foreign object inside the drive that is causing this.

I f you are adept at taking things apart i would go down this road by removing the unit from the machine and investigating further...

However if it's a fairly new unit i would consider returning it for a warranty replacement.

I suddenly am unable to receive email sent by a friend from her primary email address and when I try to send email to that address it is returned to me. Yet when we both use her alternate email address we can receive messages. This trouble only started recently. Up until a few weeks ago we were both emailing BACK and forth using that primary email address with no problems at all. We then took time off for vacations and came back to this! It's as if something is blocking access to the primary address. We both have the same ISP and I thought perhaps there was something going on there. But we are able to send and receive emails from others who also have that same ISP. So I doubt that the problem is with the ISP. But one never knows. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. :-?

Since I felt as if my email messages were suddenly being blocked, I decided to CHECK it out. I went to Tools, Message Rules, and Blocked Senders list. Here I discovered that there were several email addresses listed. I have no idea how this occurred but I now have fixed the problem. Sorry I didn't think of doing a little experimenting first and I APOLOGIZE for not being more specific. By the way, my email program is Outlook EXPRESS. Thank you for helping me, friends!

It depends. I would suspect that they might. Its mostly automated whether or not encryption is added or not, if they have your certificate and if they have one, then yes, they will use that. If you don't have one and they have one, then it will not be encrypted. If you have one and they don't, then it wont be encrypted.

There are 2 things being confused here...
Certificates mean that the recieved e-mail message is from who it actually says it's from... that's the purpose of certificates.

Encryption is a totally different beast.
If i encrypt an e-mail i have to send the encryption key to the recipient in order for them to view that e-mail...without it it is gibberish...
