Answer» I believe I fixed it on this computer, but on my other computer which is a Windows 98SE, I can't play certain .avi files on all players, it plays it in FAST foward, or at least it SOUNDS like it with that screeching SOUND, & the video either stays in one frame or is also in fast foward. I don't remember how I fixed it on this computer, I think I just played it on DivX, yet I can't use DivX on my other computer because it'll say "The DivX player is unable to initialize the video software REQUIRED to play this file. There is likely a problem with your Direct X installation. Please reinstall DirectX an try again." Try reinstalling the audiocard and videocard drivers. Download the latest VERSION of DirectX.I have the latest version of DirectX, but I have to be online to install it, & the computer doesn't have the interenet, just this one.Then reinstall the sound and videocard drivers.

Answer» Good EVENING, how are you? Well I am still at the beginer level so I need little help from my seniors as YOU. I have basically three problems. 1- I got some plug-in tools from web, for example "MJ Polytool". I have seen a guy using these tools, when he was working in MAYA. I have seen there a menu named "MJ Polytools" which are not normally present in MAYA. I just want to KNOW how can I install these tools. 2- My second problem is Shaders. I need shaders of shining steel and transparent glass. Although I have some shaders of Glass but they are not of that kind which I need. I have tried search in google but alas!!!!! 3- Third and last problem is that I have MADE a Lamp which is ON. I did place an "ambient light" INSIDE it. The problem is that only the inner surface is glowing and the outer surface remains dark. How can I resolve it? I shall be very thank full to you. If you are using the internet computer as a host, the client (standalone) will not be able to access the Internet when the host is turned off.

The Eureka was fine, but it was straight after I installed the Hoyles one that I got the black slabs. So I went back in time in the Registry Aid. Answer» Hi. I have a BURNED DVD with some video files on it. When I play them in WMP10 or with Power DVD, I can see no video, I only hear sound. It plays fine on my father in law's machine. Answer» I am currently using windows XP and recently where my desktop would usually just have my folders etc a KIND of taskbar is now there on the LEFT of the screen. The taskbar shows folder tasks, other places and details. This does not SEEM to be able to be moved. This taskbar is very similar to the one SEEN when you open my documents (for example), to the left of the screen. I have had this problem for sometime and although it does not affect computer performance it is rather annoying. Was wondering if anyone could help with this problem? Cheers in adavance
