hi im buying a 30m UTP Category 5e Crossover Cable so i can connect the xbox to my pc and use the net to get on xbox live. im worried that this cable isnt the right sort?

The MAXIMUM length for CAT5, CAT5e and CAT6 UTP cable is 100 meters (or 328 feet).  I have CAT5e cabling more than 30 meters between each computer in my own home network and the connections work just fine.
