Answer» Money WASTED on msoft products.........by people upgrading their pcs........when KIDS are starving....in south americia/africa...........asia/........when the likes of the politicans/etc the HANGERS on ride around in luxury.....its sick........dont you feel guilty that you have use of the internet /cars/houses......i do........ Stop complaining. I used to make sniper's rifles. The secret in maintaining ACCURACY is to glue the threaded barrel into the action using Locktite retaining compound then you don't get any creep in the thread due to heat. DON'T do this until you have set any mounts for the 'scope as getting the barrel out again is none too easy!!! When choosing a barrel and sighting it for straightness you may choose one which has a long slight curve, especially if caused by heat set as they can be more accurate than a straight barrel retaining complete accuracy even when hot. Something I learned from a Roy Dunlap book on making custom rifles. Let's see. It was a 7.62mm based on a ·308 Winchester chamber if I remember. When I fired a test group the boss had a fit, "Did you do this"? "What's the matter Boss too small?" He never came within range of me again, preferring to use the telephone. Some of the boys tried it out on a range and, getting tired of using targets, and spotting some wild pheasants, shot them through the head at 600 yards. Quote Yeh Merlin, I think you mean over-developed. |
