Question :

◾Is physical fitness the only way for a person to adapt successfully to life's pressures? Who gave this definition?

Answer :

Regular physical activity promotes GROWTH and development and has multiple benefits for physical, mental, and psychosocial HEALTH that undoubtedly contribute to learning.

◾Specifically, physical activity reduces the risk for heart DISEASE, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, obesity, and metabolic syndrome; improves various other aspects of health and fitness, including aerobic capacity, muscle and bone strength, flexibility, insulin sensitivity, and lipid profiles; and reduces stress, ANXIETY, and depression

◾Physical activity can improve mental health by decreasing and PREVENTING conditions such as anxiety and depression, as well as improving mood and other aspects of well-being.

a tank of size 10m×10m×10m is full of water and built on the ground.if g=10m/s^2,the potential energy of water in the tank is?

Answer»

VOLUME of tank = 10 × 10 × 10

=> 1000m³

we know that:-

mass = density × Volume

=> 10³m³ × 1000kg/m³

=> 10^6kg

now,

P.E = mgh

A train starts from rest to attain 20m/s in 5s. Calculate the acceleration of the train??

Answer»

Given:

  • A train starts from rest i.e. it had an INITIAL velocity of 0m/s.
  • It attains a velocity of 20m/s .
  • The time taken to achieve that velocity is 5 seconds .

To Find:

  • The acceleration of the train .

Answer:

Initial velocity = 0m/s (u).

Final velocity = 20m/s (v) .

Time taken = 5 seconds (t).

Now , acceleration is DEFINED as the RATE of change of velocity .

\large{\underline{\boxed{\red{\bf{\leadsto accel^{n}=\dfrac{v-u}{t}=\dfrac{\Delta v}{\Delta t}}}}}}

\sf{\implies accel^{n}= \dfrac{20m s^{-1}-0m s^{-1}}{5}}

\sf{\implies accel^{n}=\dfrac{20m s^{-1}}{5 s}}

\boxed{\bf{\leadsto accel^{n}=4 ms^{-2}}}

Hence the acceleration of the object was 4m/.

Define acceleration and write its s.i. unit and dimensional formula

Answer»

EXPLANATION:

In PHYSICS or physical science, acceleration (symbol: a) is defined as the rate of change (or derivative with RESPECT to time) of velocity. It is thus a vector quantity with dimension length/time². In SI units, acceleration is measured in meters/second² using an accelerometer.

DIMENSIONAL formulae:

dimensional formula is defined as the expression of the physical quantity in terms of its basic unit with PROPER dimensions. For example, dimensional force is. F = [M L T-2] It's because the unit of Force is Netwon or kg*m/s2.

1. state the value of G.who obtained it for the first time??2. which force is responsible for motion of moon around the earth ?? what would happen if there was no such force ??frnds plz help

Answer»

Answer:

1.The CONSTANT of proportionality in this equation is G - the universal gravitation constant. The value of G was not experimentally determined until nearly a century later (1798) by Lord Henry Cavendish USING a TORSION balance.

2.Newton called this force gravity and is a force of universal ATTRACTION that acts distantly, connecting the Moon with the Earth. Thus the centrifugal force due to the movement of the Moon around the Earth is counteracted by the force of gravity.

magnetic field is a quantity that has both direction and magnitude. pick out the incorrect statement (a) The magnetic field lines emerge from north pole and merge at the south pole. (b) Inside the magnet, the direction of field lines is from its south pole to its north pole. (c) Inside the magnet, the direction of field lines is from its north pole to its south pole. (d) No two field lines intersect each other and the field is strongest where the field lines are crowded.

Answer»

EXPLANATION:

Magnetic field is a quantity that has both direction and magnitude. The direction of the magnetic field is taken to be the direction in which a north pole of the compass NEEDLE moves inside it. Therefore it is taken by CONVENTION that the field lines emerge from north pole and merge at the south pole. Inside the magnet, the direction of field lines is from its south pole to its north pole. Thus the magnetic field lines are closed curves.

The relative strength of the magnetic field is shown by the degree of CLOSENESS of the field lines. The field is stronger, that is, the force acting on the pole of another magnet placed is greater where the field lines are crowded.

No two field-lines are found to CROSS each other. If they did, it would mean that at the point of intersection, the compass needle would point towards two directions, which is not possible.

A -particle is moving along x-axis in x-y plane with velocity of 1000m/s. a magnetic field of magnitude 10T is present in the region along Z-axis. Find out the magnitude of force on the particle.

Answer»

Answer:

I rather suspect it’s neither idle curiosity, nor the fact that you have a burning need to accellerate an actual 20 kg body to 100 m/s that has prompted you to post your anonymous question.

Would I be correct in thinking it’s a HOMEWORK question? One that aims to get you to work it out rather than one that is seeking the actual answer?

If so then I’m not GOING to give you the answer, but I’ll tell you one way you could work it out. Maybe you will recall that;

F = ma

where F is the force, m is the mass and a is the accelleration. Now you KNOW the force and the mass and you want to know the accelleration. So it shouldn’t be too difficult to work out a, should it? In case you need a clue;

a = F/m

Now you need to know how long it will to reach 100 m/s whilst accellerating at the value you have just calculated. Something else you may recall is that;

V = u + at

where v is the final velocity, u is the initial velocity, a is accelleration and t is TIME. Now assuming that your 20 kg body is starting from rest (you don’t actually say, so it will have to be an assumption) then u = 0 so in this instance;

v = at

or

t = v/a

Now all you need to do is plug-in the numbers and do the maths!

a man wheing 60 kg is running along a rail with a velocity of 18km/hr and jumps into a car of 1 quintal what is the velocity

Answer»

\huge\bf\underline{answer}

Mass of man (m1) = 60kg

Initial velocity of man (U1) = 18 km/h=18x5/18=5m/s

Final velocity of man (v1) = (v2) = v

Mass of car (m2)= 100kg

Initial velocity of car (u2) = 0 (as it is in rest)

Final velocity of car (v2) = v

According to LAW of conservation of momentum,

m1u1 +m2u2 = M1V1 + m2v2

60x5 + 100x0 = 60 x v + 100 x v

300+0 = 160v

v = 300/160

v = 1.875 m/s
