A car moves with constant speed of 10 m/s in a circular path of radius 10m. The mass of the car is 1000 kg. Who or what is providing the required centripetal force for the car? How much is it? (Ans:10⁴N)

Answer»

Answer:

the REQUIRED CENTRIPETAL FORCE is 10⁴ N

Explanation:

GIVEN :

speed= v=10 m/s

radius= r=10m

mass =m=1000kg

Fc=?

Formula :

\frac{mv^{2} }{r}Fc=

=1000x 10x 10/10

=10⁴N

∴ the required centripetal force is 10⁴ N

16.

Geeta got a doubt, 'Why atomic nucleus contains proton and neutrons inside it? Why can't electrons and neutrons?' Can you help to clarify her doubt? Explain.

Answer»

It has a very simple answer.

An ATOM primarily consists of neutrons, protons and electrons. Neutrons and protons are present in the nucleus of an atom. Electrons revolve around the nucleus. Protons have a positive charge of +1e (e= 1.6 x 10>-19 Coulombs) and Electrons have a negative charge -1e. Neutrons have zero charge so they are neutral PARTICLES

Size matters ultimately, the size of proton is almost equal to the size and mass of neutron. Electron is a very light PARTICLE which moves at a very fast speed. They are hyperactive particles so cannot bind with neutrons due to lack of nuclear and electrostatic force.

On the other hand, Proton and neutron can bound together due to PRESENCE of nuclear force. They both have smaller subatomic particles, so when protons or neutrons get close to each other, they exchange particles (mesons), ultimately binding them together.

Hope it helps!!!!

What is quantum theory?

Answer»

HEY MATE , HERE'S YOUR ANS.

In PHYSICS, the no DELETING theorem of quantum information THEORY is a no -gotheorem which STATES that, in GENERAL, given two copies of some arbitraryquantum state, it is impossible to delete one of the copies. It is a time-reversed dual to the no-cloning theorem, which states that arbitrary states cannot be copied.

22.

Why most objects in universe are round

Answer»

This is because of Gravity

. All the atoms in an OBJECT pull towards a common center of gravity, and they’re resisted outwards by whatever force is holding them apart. The FINAL RESULT could be a sphere… but not always, as we’re about to learn.

Consider a glass of water. If you could see the individual molecules jostling around, you’d see them trying to fit in as snugly as they can, tension making the top of the water smooth and even.

Imagine a planet made entirely of water. If there were no winds, it would be perfectly smooth. The water molecules on the north pole are pulling towards the molecules on the south pole. The ones on the left are pulling towards the right. With all points pulling towards the center of the mass you would get a PERFECT sphere.

Gravity and surface tension pull it in, and molecular forces are pushing it outward. If you could hold this massive water droplet in an environment where it would remain undisturbed, EVENTUALLY the water would reach a perfect balance. This is known as “hydrostatic equilibrium”

31.

A neutron is formed by an electron and a proton combining together. Therefore, it is neutral. For the given statement, write True or False

Answer»

Answer :- False

EXPLANATION :- there are many subatomic particles in atom. electron , proton , neutron, MESON , antineutrino , neutrino etc...
obviously , MASS of neutron > mass of proton > mass of electron. but it doesn't neutron is formed by an electron and a proton combining together. of course it is , but it is possible when we will TALK about a special case e.g., nuclear reaction. otherwise neutron is just a subatomic neutral charged particle. neutrons are postulated neutral because in GROUND state of any atom contains number of electron equals number of protons.
so, we can say given statement is false.

Explain the importance of physics and it's questions/derivations.

Answer»

Physics one of the subjects which INCLUDES numericals . how is this important is not known but it really has great importance in our everyday lives. all the forces we are able to write will we be able to understand it without physics that includes FORCE . gravity all is because if a study NAMED physics . all the questions or derivations are based on our life , our universe THINGS happening in it . nothing could be known without physics . there are many scientists who have won prizes for physics , for their understanding on it in a better way . it is really important

36.

A body has a weight of 10 kg on the surface of earth.What will be it's weights when taken to the centre of the earth

Answer»

Since it is completely impossible with current technology to actually do this as a real experiment, I will assume we are talking totally theoretically.

Mass is an inherent property of the object. As long as you take the whole 10 kg object and don’t lose any parts on the way, it should still be a 10 kg object at the end of the trip.

WEIGHT is also referred to as the force of gravity and it depends on location. We can USE a type of mathematics CALLED calculus to show the exact relationship between the weight and how far we are from the SURFACE of the EARTH. As you move inside a solid body like a planet, it turns out that the overall gravity depends on how much mass of the planet is further inside than you are. When you get to the very center, the overall gravity is zero.

37.

J.J. Thomson proposed that the nucleus of an atom contains only nucleons. For the given statement, write True or False

Answer»

Answer ⇒ False.

EXPLANATIONNUCLEONS are the collective term for the Protons and Neutrons.

J.J. Thomson proposed the model of the atom that only contains electrons and protons and no neutrons.

Thus, the GIVEN statements is incorrect. Hence, answer is False.

According to the Thomson mode of the atom, Electrons are compared to the SEEDS of the watermelon and the positive charge is compared to the reddish portion.

Thus, It means that the Electrons are embedded in the positive charge as in the EXAMPLE of watermelon.

C1- has completely filled K&L shells. Explain.

Answer»

Atomic number of chlorine , CL = 17
so, number of ELECTRONS present in Cl atom = 17
so, number of electrons present in Cl⁻ ion = 17
now, configure based of SHELLS = 2 , 8, 7

we know, K contains 2 electrons.
L contains 8 electrons.
M contains 18 electrons.

so, in Cl⁻ ion K and L are complete shells and M is INCOMPLETE.

What are the different types of chemical reactions and explain them in detail

Answer»

1) COMBINATION REACTION- Those reactions in which two or more substance combine to form a single substance are CALLED combination reaction.

2)decomposition reaction - those reactions in which a compound breaks up into two or more sub SIMPLER substances .

3)displacement reaction - those reactions in which a more reactive element displaces the less reactive element .

4)double displacement reaction - those reactions in which two compounds react by the exchange of iron to form an insoluble solid.
so the reaction is also called as precipitation reaction .

Hope this helps..

5) Redox reaction - reduction and addition of oxygen and hydrogen takes place.
