a wooden block of mass 0.010 kg is dropped from the top of a cliff 100 m high. simultaneously A bullet of mass 0.010 kg is fired from the foot of a cliff upward with a velocity of 100 m per second. the bullet and the wooden block will meet each other after the time in seconds is?

Answer» HIIII dear________❤️❤️

good afternoon___________✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️

Let they MEET after t second

If block travels 's'm distance then in same TIME the bullet travells(100-s)m

For block

s=0×t+12s=0×t+12×10×t2×10×t2

For bullet

100−s=100×t+12100−s=100×t+12(−10)×t2(−10)×t2

Solving this;

we GET t=1second

2.

a train starting from rest with the uniform acceleration of 0.2 meters per second for 5 minute calculate the speed and distance traveled with him

Answer» INITIAL VELOCITY (v)= 0m (as it starts from rest)
Acceleration (a)= 0.2m/s^2
Time (t)=5 MINUTE
= 5×60 = 300s
Let final velocity be v

Using acceleration formula
a=(v-u)/t
0.2 = v/300
60 =v
So, final velocity was 60m/s.

Let distance be s
Using second equation of motion
s=ut+(1/2)at^2
s= (0)(300)+(1/2)(0.2)(300)^2
=9000m
So, the distance covered by the train was 9000m or 9km.

Rain appears to fall vertically downward to a man moving with a velocity of 4m/sec. When he doubles his speed then the rain appears to strike him at an angle of 45 degree with the horiozontal. Then what is the actual velocity of rain drop?I don't need any Google answers please do not copy and paste the answer

Answer»

The speed of the RAINDROP is 4 √2 m/s and the angle is 45°.

Explanation:

Initial velocity of the man, me = 4 m/s

Final velocity of the man, m'e = 8 m/s

m'm = m'e - me = 8 - 4 = 4 m/s

tan 45 = rm/m'm

rm = (m'm) tan 45 = 1

re = √(rm)^2 + (me)^2  = 4 √2 m/s

θ = tan^-1 (me / rm) = tan^-1 (1)

θ = 45° degree

Hence the speed of the raindrop is 4 √2 m/s and the angle is 45°.

how will you give equal and opposite charge to two identical metal spheres on insulated stands? you can use a charged rod but touching of rod to sphere is not allowed.

Answer»

Hola User__________________

Here is Your Answer...!!!!!!!
___________________________

☆Actually welcome to the concept of the ELECTROSTATICS and charge production on the insulated bodies placed at the infinite......

☆Basically we know that ........The two bodies are placed at the insulated stand ...thus initially both have. ...q = 0 .....

☆So now here ..such that we have to create a equal and opposite charge on both the sphere ...without touching the source charged ROD to any one of them....

☆so basically ..what we will do.....

☆We will first ..held the rod at some distance R from any of the insulated body .....
such that ...due to closer of charged body ....there will be PHENOMENAL of INDUCTION of charge on the sphere from the distance....

☆So now here the surface near to the rod will have induced charge at the near surface and the other surface of the which is away from rod will have opposite induced charge ......

☆Now our one sphere has both charges on its opposite surfaces ...so now here we will connect a distribution wire from any one of the charged surface to the other sphere ..such that ...the earthing of one surface will be held on first sphere and the charge will be flowed from the distribution wire to the ANOTHER sphere ....

☆This flowed charge will charge the second sphere wholly opposite of the first sphere .....

☆and thus here two spheres with equal and opposite charge are created without touch in the rod to any sphere .....

I'LL MARK AS BRAINLIEST ...if t is the time required for a radioactive substance to reduce to one third of its initial amount then what amount will be left over after 0.5t ... Plz answer ... NO SPAMMING...

Answer»

if t is the time required for a radioactive SUBSTANCE to REDUCE to ONE THIRD of its initial amount,

N_t=N_oe^{-t/ \tau}

\Rightarrow \frac{N_t}{N_o}= e^{-t/ \tau} \\ \\ \Rightarrow \frac{1}{3} = e^{-t/ \tau}

If t' = 0.5t

N_{t'}=N_oe^{-t'/ \tau}

\Rightarrow \frac{N_{t'}}{N_o}= e^{-t'/ \tau} \\ \\ \Rightarrow \frac{N_{t'}}{N_o}= e^{-0.5t/ \tau}

\\ \\ \Rightarrow \frac{N_{t'}}{N_o}= e^{0.5} \times e^{-t/ \tau}

\\ \\ \Rightarrow \frac{N_{t'}}{N_o}= 1.6487 \times \frac{1}{3}

\\ \\ \Rightarrow \frac{N_{t'}}{N_o}= 0.5496 \approx 0.55 =\frac{11}{20}

Thus, after 0.5t, 11/20 of the ORIGINAL amount will be left.

44.

If momentum of an object is increased by 10% then its kinetic energy will increase by ??

Answer»

ANSWER :-
It will be INCREASED by 21%.

Let the initial MASS of the body be m and its velocity be v.

Initial momentum of the body = MV
Initial KE = mv^2 /2
If the momentum increases by 10%, then NEW momentum = mv + 10% of mv.
=> mv + 10/100mv
=> mv + mv/10
=>11mv/10
=>m(11v/10)
New velocity = 11v/10
Increase in velocity = v/10
New KE = m(11v/10)^2 /2
=> 121/100mv^2/2
Therefore increase in KE = 21%.

Scientist designed the shape of areoplane using the technique of reducing fluid friction by observing birds shape. How would you apperciate?

Answer»

Adaptations for flight are many in a bird's body: these are called volant adaptations .

Explanation:

Bird's body is spindle shaped which provide less resistance while flying or during swimming as in case of penguins.Bird's volume of the body is increased by presence of feathers compared to the weight.Fore limbs are modified into wings for aerial locomotion.Reduction of weight is achieved by:

loss of fingers;
loss of SUTURES in skull , skull bones are thinner;
absence of teeth , jaw bones form beak;
tendency of fusion of vertebral bones to form synsacrum ;
tail vestigial, represented by pygostyle that SUPPORTS tail feathers;
external ear is represented by only tympanum;
fibula of leg is vestigial .

Bones are pneumatic (with air spaces).There are air sacs attached to lungs .Large flight muscles are attached to humerus at one end, and the other ends of these large muscles REMAIN attached to keel : latter is huge ventral projection on sternum. (Keel is much smaller/vestigial in flight less birds.)Gonads SQUEEZE in size after breeding season; in females only one side of reproductive system remain functional.Birds excrete uric acid, hence voluminous watery urine is not produced. Urinary bladder absent .Birds need more energy to sustain flight :
their haemoglobin content is very HIGH,
heart rate is high,
digestive, circulatory and respiratory systems are very efficient;
metabolic rate is also high,
thus a higher body temperature is maintained.
hope this proves to be useful........
