Meanwhile ,in same 2 HOUR B will cover 40km/h × 2h = 80 km.
Since the turn is 40 km away from house (because A is slower and walk distance of 40 km in 2 hour and B walk faster and covered 40 km in less than 2 hr and turned right).
So B move 40 km away straight and after turning move 40 km to right .
Now at 2:00 i.e., after 2HR A moves 20km/h × 2 = 40 km to LEFT and B moves 40km/h ×2 = 80 km to right .
So total distance between A and B is 40 +40 + 80= 160km

According to the question,


8x³ + 27y³ = 730 ---------- equation (i)


3x² + 3y² = 15 -----------equation (ii)


We have to find the value of (2X + 3Y)


LET us see what will be the CUBE of (2x + 3y)


i.e. (2x + 3y)³ = 8x³ + 3x²y + 3xy² + 27y³


or, we can also group it as: (8x³ + 27y³) + (3x²y + 3xy²)


Now, we have the value of this expressions,


(8x³ + 27y³) + (3x²y + 3xy²) = 730 + 15 = 745


But, it is not the answer, because we are bothered of (2x + 3y)³ and not (2x + 3y).


Therefore, if we do the cube root of it then we can get the value of (2x + 3y).


Therefore, (2x + 3y) = cube root of (2x + 3y)³ = cube root of 745 = 9.065 (Ans)

L.H.S = n.2n = 2

R.H.S = (n-1).2n+1 + 2 = 0 + 2 = 2

L.H.S = R. H .S

∴ S(1) is true.

Let US assume that n = k

S(k) = 1.2 + 2.22 + 3.23 + ..........+k.2k = (k-1).2k+1 + 2 --------→(1)

∴ S(k) is true.

Now we have to prove that n = k+1

Adding (k+1) .2k+1 on EQUATION (1) both sides

⇒ 1.2 + 2.22 + 3.23 + ..........+k.2k + (k+1) .2k+1 = (k-1).2k+1 + 2 + (k+1) .2k+1

= 2k+1 ( k - 1 + k + 1) + 2

= 2k.2k+1+ 2

= ( k +1 -1) 2k+1+1 + 2

∴ s(k+1) is true.

By the mathematical induction it is true for all n∈N.
