The total land area if India is 3287263000000m² and that if Andhra Pradesh is 160205000000 m². What percent of the total land is covered by Andhra Pradesh?

Answer»

Hello Mate!

Total Frequency = 3287263000000m^2

Frequency = 160205000000 m^2

Percentage =Frequency / Total Frequency × 100

= 160205000000 / 3287263000000 × 100
= 4.9%

So ANDHRA PRADESH COVERS 4.9% of India.

Find the number of odd days in 126 years.a.0b.1c.2d.4what does this question mean and how to do it

Answer»

This question is RELATED to calendars topic in aptitude.

Let me explain you in an easy and understandable way:

(1)

A leap year consists of 365 days.

1 week consists of 7-days.

7) 365 ( 52

    35

    -------

        15

        14

     ----------

          1.

That means a leap year will have 52 weeks + 1 odd day.

(2)

A non-leap year consists of 366 days.

7) 366 ( 52

    35

    -------

        16

        14

   ---------

           2

That means a non-leap year consists of 52 weeks + 2 odd days.

(3)

100 years = 24 leap years + 76 non-leap years(100 - 24 = 76).

                 = 24 * 2 + 76 * 1

                 = 48 + 76

                 = 124.

In the next step, I will divide 124 with 7 because a week has 7 - days.

7) 124 ( 1

    7

    ----

      54

       49

     --------

         5.

We can SEE that the remainder is 5. Therefore 100 years has 5 odd-days.

Now,

26 years = 6 leap years + 20 non-leap years

               = 6 * 2 + 20 * 1

               = 12 + 20

               = 32.

Now,

Coming to your question:

126 years = 100 years + 26 years

                  = 5 + 32

                  = 37.

Now, Divide the RESULT by 7. Here we are dividing it by 7 because a week has 7 days.

7) 37(5

    35

    ---

     2

    ----

Therefore the number of odd days in 126 years = 2.

Hope this helps!

HEYA GUYS..did anyone explain me 9 class maths chapter trignometry.....plz explain clearly by using any page of urs

Answer»

Hey _____
its very easy ,firstly just learn all the identities ,and the trignometry table
and just try to see what the question is SAYING and what to FIND or what to prove

All the QUESTIONS are SOLVED by using identities and formulas

as taking a very simple example
sin {}^{2} + cos {}^{2} = 1 \\ sin {}^{2} +1 - sin {}^{2} = 1 \\ 1 = 1 \\ lhs = rhs
in this we use an identity

33.

PROVING METHOD OF CONTRADICTION WRONG:an excerpt from a book on method of contradiction:A proof that the square root of 2 is irrationalLet's suppose √2 is a rational number. Then we can write it √2 = a/b where a, b are whole numbers, b not zero.We additionally assume that this a/b is simplified to lowest terms, since that can obviously be done with any fraction. Notice that in order for a/b to be in simplest terms, both of a and b cannot be even. One or both must be odd. Otherwise, we could simplify a/b further. From the equality √2 = a/b it follows that 2 = a^2/b^2, or a^2 = 2 · b^2. So the square of a is an even number since it is two times something. From this we know that a itself is also an even number. Why? Because it can't be odd; if a itself was odd, then a · a would be odd too. Odd number times odd number is always odd. Check it if you don't believe me!Okay, if a itself is an even number, then a is 2 times some other whole number. In symbols, a = 2k where k is this other number. We don't need to know what k is; it won't matter. Soon comes the contradiction. If we substitute a = 2k into the original equation 2 = a^2/b^2, this is what we get:2 = (2k)^2/b^22 = 4k^2/b^22*b^2 = 4k^2b^2 = 2k^2This means that b^2 is even, from which follows again that b itself is even. And that is a contradiction!!!WHY is that a contradiction? Because we started the whole process assuming that a/b was simplified to lowest terms, and now it turns out that a and b both would be even. We ended at a contradiction; thus our original assumption (that √2 is rational) is not correct. Therefore √2 cannot be rational.However,if√(4)=a/bconsider that a & b are coprimesa^2=4b^2a is divisible by 4.let k=4a16k^2=4b^24k^2=b^2b is divisible by 4thus,a & b are not coprimes as they are divisible by 4so √4 is irrational≠true

Answer» YA,,CORRECT

last we have to write that our method is wrong so it is a ir RATIONAL no...FIRST we have to TELL it's a rational no.and last its a irrational no.

a sheet of paper 25cm long and 20cm broad.strips each of width 2cm is cut off all around, find the area of remaining sheet of paper and total area off cut out strips.....can anyone help me please????

Answer»

Given
Length of Sheet= 25cm
Breadth of Sheet= 20 cm

AREA (A1)= l×b
= 25×20
= 500 cm sq.

After removing strips of width 2 cm all around the sheet
New Length = 25-4
= 21 cm (because an area of 2 cm is removed from either side)

New breadth = 20-4
= 16 cm

New Area (A2) = Area of the paper after cutting strips
=21×16
= 336 cm sq.

Remaining area= Total Area of the strips
= A1-A2
= 500-336
= 164 cm sq
