Describe the different methods of vegetative reproduction

Answer»

Hey friend,
Here is your answer:

The different methods of vegetative reproduction are:

• by stem - In some plants, they may send out a side branch or runners from which roots grow down into the soil. In this, the stem lengthens and creeps along the GROUND, forming roots at intervals and giving rise to new plants. When the new plant is old enough to survive on its own, the elongated parts WITHER AWAY. ( strawberry )

• by underground stem - In some plants, the organs storing food, acts as organs for reproduction. They store starch during summer and in autumn, the plants die but the organs filled with food remains dormant and survive the winter. They produce new plants the following year. ( BULBS, rhizome, tuber )

• by leaves - Some new plants are produced from leaves, which have buds on their MARGINS. These buds give rise to new plants. ( bryophyllum )

• by roots - In some biennial plants, buds present at the base of the old stem just above the taproot act as organs of perennation and vegetative propagation. ( carrot, turnip, radish )

#How much dissolved waste ,especialy nitrogenous waste like urea and nitric acid and salts to be excreted from the body. When there is more quantity of dissolved waste in the body ,more quantity of water is required to excrete them.So the amount of urine produced increases.

◇Each nucleus remains enclosed in a nuclear membrane or nuclear envelope , It is a DOUBLE MEMBRANE surrounding the nucleus.

◇Each membrane has a typical plasma membrane like structure and it is 4nm to 6nm in WIDTH .

◇Nucleus controls all the genetic activities of the cell.

Why do desert plants take in carbon dioxide during night? Don't they photosynthesise during day?

Answer» HEYY BRO ur answer......
Deserts have a very hot climate and receive very less rainfall annually. Like other green plants, desert plants also prepare food by photosynthesis, during which small pores (stomata) on a plant's leaves and stems open to absorb CO₂ from the air. However, each time a plant OPENS its pores, some water is LOST. If this happens frequently during daytime, high temperatures will cause the water to evaporate quickly.
