Heart of human = It is a pumping organ that PUMPS out the blood into the blood vessels.It is SITUATED between the MIDDLE of lungs SLIGHTLY tilted towards left.Human heart is four chambered.
Functions = It prevents mixing of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood.
It helps in pumping of blood .
It converts deoxygenated blood to oxygenated blood.
Work = Left atrium receives oxygenated blood from lungs via pulmonary vein .deoxygenated blood enters right atrium .Deoxygenated blood thus enters in it,which inturn is pumped to lungs for oxygenation.
