Primary school opening ceremony speech. |
Answer» Your Excellency,Fathers, Sisters, BrothersDear Teachers, Children, Friends,Ladies and Gentlemen, Today, we are opening a reborn St Mary's Primary School. Which welcomes over 350 children from the 1st to the 5th standard. The Foundation is very happy to be here and to share in the excitement of a new junior school that will benefit so many of you from Mambakkam and its neighbours. I take this opportunity to highlight and praise the relationship—above all a personal one—which we have continued to maintain with our partner, the Diocese of Chingleput, for so many years. All of our schools in Sendivakkam, Kovalam, KG Kandigai and Chennai have always allowed students to have excellent results and obtain a higher education. These schools are not only models in which knowledge is passed on through excellent teachers to pupils but are equally places where children are enabled to understand and support human values. I would like to take this special occasion, today, to share with you our vision of a new future for the Cuomo Foundation. These schools are not only models in which knowledge is passed on through excellent teachers to pupils but are equally places where children are enabled to understand and support human values. The AMALA ANNAI HIGH SCHOOL of Mambakkam that will open in 2017, will be the model for a new generation of schools that will not only teach but also allow young people to be pivotal in the transformation of their lives and their surroundings. I'm sure that His Excellency and his team will deliver exciting and innovative ideas to support our ambitions. The challenge is great but the Foundation is strong and together with the Fathers, teachers, and the students, I believe we can all be motivated enough to succeed in this task. This Primary School, that the Foundation has created, will support a generation of children and enable them to learn, grow, flourish and be prepared for the exciting challenges that lie ahead for them. We will follow your progress with care and interest and we continue to support, you, in the future. I wish you good luck and thank you all for being here today. |

as; what is meant by projection ? Explainand perspective projections in detail.parall |
Answer» Projection operations convert the viewing-coordinate description (3D) to coordinate positions on the projection plane (2D). There are 2 basic projection methods: Parallel Projection: i. In parallel projection, Z coordinate is discarded and parallel lines from each vertex on the object are extended until they intersect the view plane. ii. The point of intersection is the projection of the vertex. iii. We connect the projected vertices by line segments which correspond to connections on the original object. iv. A parallel projection preserves relative proportions of objects. v. Accurate views of the various sides of an object are obtained with a parallel projection. But not a realistic representation.Perspective Projection: i. In perspective projection, the lines of projection are not parallel. ii. Perspective Projection transforms object positions to the view plane while converging to a center point of projection. iii. In this all the projections are converge at a single point called the “center of projection” or “projection reference point”. iv. Perspective projection produces realistic views but does not preserve relative proportions. v. Projections of distant objects are smaller than the projections of objects of the same size that are closer to the projection plane. |

5 What does the poet mean when he says that he 'gazed - and gazed- butlittle thought/What wealth the show to me had brought:'? How does thescene benefit him either materially or emotionally? Give reasons for youranswer. |
Answer» When he says, “What wealth the show to me had brought”, it shows that the mere sight of the golden daffodils somehow enriched his life and brought wealth to him. The use of the word “wealth” reveals that this sense of peace and joy are worth more to the speaker than money or other worldly wealth. This also gives the reader the idea that some things are worth more than money and worldly goods, such as peace, joy, and life. |

(A5) Write down your emotions when you face setback in your life. ( |
Answer» 1. Feeling Guilty Guilt is an emotion we often learn in childhood: “Eat all your food; there are people starving in India,” or, "I’ve been working my fingers to the bone to take care of you and all you do is complain?” As adults, we internalize these messages and feel like we’re never enough or can never do enough. Guilt can be helpful when it keeps you from intentionally harming others or violating deeply-held values. Excessive guilt, however, can cripple us and take the joy out of life—not letting you enjoy the fruits of your hard work. There are many types of guilt and research shows only one is good—guilt about something harmful that you did. If you lied to someone you care about, or acted in a selfish and hurtful way, then feeling guilt can motivate you to stop the hurtful behavior and make amends. This will likely improve your relationships and self-esteem. Most other types of guilt are counterproductive: Guilt about not doing enough to help someone else, when you’ve already done a lot, or the other person is not taking responsibility;Guilt about having more money or better relationships than friends or family members;Guilt about thoughts that you don’t actually act on, like feeling jealous of a friend who just had a baby.article continues after advertisement To combat unhelpful guilt, realize that your thoughts don’t hurt others—only your actions can do that. Learn from past mistakes and try to feel worthy of the gifts and good fortune life has given you. 2. Thinking You’re a Failure Many of us have a sense of failure that colors our perception of ourselves and our achievements. If you look at your life through the lens of failure, you will fail to pay attention to or minimize your achievements. A mindset of failure also doesn’t take into account the difficult circumstances you may have faced, or how hard you tried. This mindset may have its roots in growing up with critical parents, not being as smart or athletic as siblings or close friends, or even having undiagnosed attention deficit disorder. It may be the result of disappointment in a key life area, like getting divorced, being single, having too much debt, or not getting a college degree or dream job. Once this mindset develops, you carry it with you into every new situation, believing that you lack what it takes to succeed. Having a failure mindset can become a self-fulfilling prophecy, leading you to get in your own way. You may procrastinate and not get the work done on time, or become overly perfectionistic and focused on details, rather than the big picture. You may act in an insecure manner that doesn’t inspire the confidence of potential bosses or customers, or do a careless job because you just know your work isn’t good anyway. The first step in overcoming a mindset of failure is to realize it is there and that you don’t have to believe it. Each new opportunity is a fresh start and a chance to learn from previous mistakes and act differently. |

Using Euclid's algorith(i) 1240 and 1984 |
Answer» Make two columns of numbers. At the head of the columns write the two numbers whose HCF you seek: 1240.........1984 In the next step, under the smaller of the two numbers just repeat the number; under the larger number write (larger number - smaller number) so at the end of the first step you have 1240.........19841240.......... 744 Now do the same thing with the numbers you just wrote down: 1240.........19841240.......... 744. 496...........744 And so on: 1240.........19841240.......... 744. 496...........744. 496...........248 1240.........19841240.......... 744. 496...........744. 496...........248. 248...........248 When the two numbers are equal, stop. weite an acticle of child labouse |
Answer» Not all children in India are lucky to enjoy their childhood. Many of them are forced to work under inhuman conditions where their miseries know no end. Though there are laws banning child labour, still children continue to be exploited as cheap labour. It is because the authorities are unable to implement the laws meant to protect children from being engaged as labourers. Unfortunately, the actual number of child labourers in India goes un-detected. Children are forced to work is completely unregulated condition without adequate food, proper wages, and rest. They are subjected to physical, sexual and emotional abuse. Causes of Child Labour:Factors such as poverty, lack of social security, the increasing gap between the rich and the poor have adversely affected children more than any other group. We have failed to provide universal education, which results in children dropping out of school and entering the labour force. Loss of jobs of parents in a slowdown, farmers’ suicide, armed conflicts and high costs of healthcare are other factors contributing to child labour. A widespread problem:Due to high poverty and poor schooling opportunities, child labour is quite prevalent in India. Child labour is found in rural as well as urban areas. The 2001 census found an increase in the number of child labourers from 11.28 million in 1991 to 12.59 million. Children comprise 40% of the labour in the precious stone cutting sector. They are also employed in other industries such as mining, zari and embroidery, dhabas, tea stalls and restaurants and in homes as domestic labour. Conclusion:Government authorities and civil society organizations need to work in tandem to free children engaged in labour under abysmal conditions. They need to be rescued from exploitative working conditions and supported with adequate education. Above all, there is a need to mobilize public opinion with an aim to bring about an effective policy initiative to abolish child labour in all its forms. |
