Your Excellency,Fathers, Sisters, BrothersDear Teachers, Children, Friends,Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today, we are opening a reborn St Mary's Primary School.

Which welcomes over 350 children from the 1st to the 5th standard.

The Foundation is very happy to be here and to share in the excitement of a new junior school that will benefit so many of you from Mambakkam and its neighbours.

I take this opportunity to highlight and praise the relationship—above all a personal one—which we have continued to maintain with our partner, the Diocese of Chingleput, for so many years.

All of our schools in Sendivakkam, Kovalam, KG Kandigai and Chennai have always allowed students to have excellent results and obtain a higher education.

These schools are not only models in which knowledge is passed on through excellent teachers to pupils but are equally places where children are enabled to understand and support human values.

I would like to take this special occasion, today, to share with you our vision of a new future for the Cuomo Foundation.

The AMALA ANNAI HIGH SCHOOL of Mambakkam that will open in 2017, will be the model for a new generation of schools that will not only teach but also allow young people to be pivotal in the transformation of their lives and their surroundings.

I'm sure that His Excellency and his team will deliver exciting and innovative ideas to support our ambitions.

The challenge is great but the Foundation is strong and together with the Fathers, teachers, and the students,

I believe we can all be motivated enough to succeed in this task.

This Primary School, that the Foundation has created, will support a generation of children and enable them to learn, grow, flourish and be prepared for the exciting challenges that lie ahead for them.

We will follow your progress with care and interest and we continue to support, you, in the future.
