The ratio of one micron to one fermi

Answer»

GIVEN:

The ratio of ONE micron to one fermi

To find:

The ratio of one micron to one fermi is?

Solution:

One micron is equal to ten to the power -6

One fermi is equal to ten to the power -15

So, the ratio is given by,

Ratio = micron / fermi

= 10^{-6} / 10^{-15}

= 10^{-6+15}

= 10^9

∴ 10^{-6} / 10^{-15} = 10^9

Ten to the power 9 is equal to 1 giga

∴ micron / fermi = giga

What is the equation of pressure

Answer»

Pressure is DEFINED as force per unit area. It is USUALLY more convenient to use pressure rather than force to describe the influences UPON fluid BEHAVIOR. The standard unit for pressure is the PASCAL, which is a Newton per square meter.

If a body starts from rest and travels 120m in the 8th second then the acceleration is

Answer»

Here we will use Second Equation of MOTION i.e. s=ut+1/2at^2

120=0*8 + 1/2*a*8^2

120 = 1/2*a*64

120 = 32*a

120/32 =a

3.75 =a

3.75 m/s/s or METER PER second per second

32.

In which case work is done and why?A man pushing a wall

Answer»

No work is not done because according to physics if the body on which force is APPLIED is getting displacement then it is CALLED work.in this case the wall will OBVIOUSLY not move from its original place so work done is zero.

Hello Friends!✔️I want appropriate solution❎No copy or plagiarism❎No spamming Have great future ahead!

Answer»

The main concept involved here is that of Total Internal Reflection (TIR).

As LIGHT moves from an optically denser medium to an optically rarer medium, it moves away from the normal.

So, as the angle of incidence increases, the angle of refraction also increases.

For a specific angle of incidence (called the Critical Angle), the angle of Refraction becomes 90°

At ANGLES of incidence above this critical angle, light gets reflected back into the denser medium.

Here, in the question, a glass slab is placed on a point light source.

A light source emits light in all directions.

So there are light rays coming to the other surface of the slab at every angle.

However, we just saw that if the angle of incidence at the other surface is GREATER than the critical angle, light won't come out from the surface.

This implies that all light doesn't escape.

The light, whose angle of incidence is less than critical angle can only escape.

Thus, the light comes out only from a circular region on the other surface of the slab.

The boundary of this CIRCLE defines the critical angle of incidence.

The solution is shown in the image.

Final Answer:

Radius of Circle is 6 cm.

How does arrhenius equation explain the effect of temperature on the rate constant?

Answer»

The rate constant goes on increasing as the TEMPERATURE goes up, but therate of increase falls off quite rapidly at higher TEMPERATURES. A catalyst willprovide a route for the reaction with a LOWER activation energy. ... And the rate constant k is just one FACTOR in the rate equation.
