A gas bubble released at the bottom of the lake grows in size as it rises to the surface of the lake. Give reason.

Answer» \huge\mathbb\purple{HELLO\:DEAR}

\huge\boxed{\texttt{\fcolorbox{Red}{aqua} {ANSWER : }}}

➡ It is NOTICED that as the gas bubble FORMED at the bottom of a lake, RISES, it grows in size. The reason is that when the bubble is at the bottom of the lake, total pressure exerted on it is the sum of the atmospheric pressure and the pressure due to water column.

➡ Now, as tha gas bubble rises, due to decrease in DEPTH, the pressure due to water column also decreases, so the total pressure exerted on that gas bubble also decreases. When the bubble reaches the liquid surface, total pressure exerted on it becomes just equal to the atmospheric pressure which is minimum and so the size of bubble on surface becomes maximum.

Explain why binding energy for heavy nuclei is low

Answer»

HII friend,

# Binding energy-

Binding energy is the MINIMUM energy required to disassemble a system of particles into separate PARTS.

# Why heavy nuclei have lesser binding energy?

For heavy or massive nuclei, the positively charged protons on opposite sides of the nucleus are REPELLING each other by electrostatic repulsion, and the strong NUCLEAR force is very weak at these distances. So average binding is weak. hence binding energy is low.

Collect the information about electroplating making a list of article

Answer»

Electroplating is a process that uses an electric current to reduce dissolved metal cations so that they form a thin coherent metal coating on an electrode. The term is also used for electrical oxidation of anions on to a solid substrate, as in the formation of silver chloride on silver wire to make silver/silver-chloride electrodes. Electroplating is primarily used to change the surface properties of an object (such as ABRASION and wear resistance, corrosion protection, lubricity, aesthetic qualities), but may also be used to build up thickness on undersized parts or to form objects by electroforming.

The process used in electroplating is called electrodeposition. It is analogous to a concentration CELL acting in reverse. The part to be plated is the cathode of the CIRCUIT. In one technique, the anode is made of the metal to be plated on the part. Both components are immersed in a solution called an electrolyte containing one or more dissolved metal salts as well as other IONS that permit the flow of electricity. A power supply supplies a direct current to the anode, oxidizing the metal atoms that it comprises and allowing them to dissolve in the solution. At the cathode, the dissolved metal ions in the electrolyte solution are reduced at the interface between the solution and the cathode, such that they "plate out" onto the cathode. The rate at which the anode is dissolved is equal to the rate at which the cathode is plated and thus the ions in the electrolyte bath are continuously replenished by the anode.[1]

Other electroplating processes may use a non-consumable anode such as lead or carbon. In these techniques, ions of the metal to be plated MUST be periodically replenished in the bath as they are drawn out of the solution.[2] The most common form of electroplating is used for creating coins, such as US pennies, which are made of zinc covered in a layer of copper.

An elevator has a weight limit of 630kg. It is carrying a group of people of whom the heaviest weight 57kg and lightest weight 3kg. What is the maximum possible number of people in a group?

Answer» \red{HEY\:BUDDY!!}

HERE'S THE ANSWER..

___________________________

⏺️Max limit of lift is 630 Kg

⏺️ Heaviest weight 57 Kg

⏺️Lighest weight 3 Kg

♠️ We had GIVEN weight of two people , so weight of rest will be

=> 57 + 3 ....... = 630

=> 60 + ...... = 630

=> 570 Kg

⏺️ Rest of have have tolal weight as 570 Kg

⏺️ We know Lighest weight is 3 Kg , so the max NUMBER of people will be

=> 570 / 3

=> 190 People

⏺️ And we have 2 person , so total number of max people can be in lift

=> 190 + 2

=> 192 people.

⏺️ So lift can have maximum 192 people

what work is to be done in order to increase the velocity of a car from 18 km per hour to90km per hour.if the mass of the car is2000kg

Answer» \red{HEY\:BUDDY!!}

HERE'S THE ANSWER...

_____________________________

♠️ According to work ENERGY THEOREM CHANGE in kinetic energy is also know as work done , i.e.

=> \blue{ Work\:= K_{f} - K_{i}}

⏺️ Mass ( m ) = 2000 kg

⏺️ Initial velocity ( U ) = 18 Km/h

=> 18 × 5 / 18

=> 5 m/s

⏺️Final Velocity ( V ) = 90 Km/h

=> 90 × 5 / 18

=> 25 m/s

▶️ Now , putting values in formula

=> \texttt{ W\:=\: K_{f} - K_{i}}

=> \texttt{ W\:=\: 1/2 m ( v^{2} - u^{2})}

=> \texttt{ W\:=\: 1/2 (2000) ( 25^{2} - 5^{2})}

=>\texttt{ W\:=\: (1000) (625 - 25)}

=> \texttt{ W\:=\: (1000) (600)}

=>\boxed{ W\:=\: 6 × 10^5 Joules}

Two bodies A and B have their masses in the ratio 3:1 and kinetic energy in the ratio 1:3. then ratio of their velocities are

Answer»

Your ANSWER is :-

Let, the mass of body A be 3x and mass at d body B be 1x

°•° ration of their KINETIC ENERGY is 1:3

So,

(1/2m1v1^2)/(1/2m2v2^2) = 1/3

=> (3x×v1^2)/(x×v2^2) = 1/3

=> v1^2/v2^2 = 1/9

=> (v1/v2) = √(1/9)

=> v1/v2 = 1/3

hence, ration of their velocity is 1:3

18.

Calculate the change in momentum of a body weighing 10 kg when its velocity decreases from 20 m/s to 0.2 m/s

Answer»

Hello Mate!

SINCE we know that momentum = MASS × velocity.

p = mv

INITIAL momentum = 10 kg × 20 m/s

= 200 kg m/s

Final momentum = 10 kg × 0.2 m/s

= 2 kg m/s

Change in p = Final p - Initial p

= ( 200 - 2 ) kg m/s

= 198 kg m/s

Change in momentum is 198 kg m/s

Have great future ahead!

Name two factors which determine whether a planet would have atmosphere or not

Answer»

The thickness of a planet's atmosphere DEPENDS on the planet's GRAVITY and thetemperature of the atmosphere. A planet with weaker gravity does not have as strong a HOLD on the MOLECULES that make up its atmosphere as a planet with stronger gravity. The GAS molecules will be more likely to escape the planet's gravity.

What are the conditions in which force can not produce torque

Answer»

Here are the conditions of PRODUCE torque:LET's take a particular example of a disk rotating around an axis through its centre:

If the component of the torque parallel to the axis is TaTa then the disk will start to rotate according to the angular VERSION of Newton's second law:

Ta=Iω˙(1)(1)Ta=Iω˙

where ω˙ω˙ is the angular acceleration and IIis the moment of inertia. The obvious way to make this rotate is to apply a tangential force:

In this CASE the magnitude of the torque is just T=rFT=rF and the direction of the torque vector is parallel to the axis so Ta=T=rFTa=T=rF and equation (1) tells us that the disk will start rotating.

the force of gravity due to the Earth on the body is proportional to its mass then why does a heavy body not fall faster than a lighter body

Answer»

I HOPE you help !!
mark me brainlist !!!/
===================

Gravitational force acting between to bodies is proportional to the product of their MASSES.

If one body is falling on the other body then calculating the acceleration of the falling body.

Which is equal to the,

Acceleration =  Force / mass of the falling body

Which is INDEPENDENT of the mass of the falling body.

Therefore all the bodies FALL with the same acceleration on the other body independent of their masses.

for the same angle of incidence in media a ,b and c, the angles of refraction are 20 degree, 30 degrees , 40 degrees respectively in which medium will the velocity of light be maximum? Give reason in support of your answer

Answer»

We know, RATIO of sine of incidence to sine of refraction gives refractive index. Increase in refractive index will increase the range of BENDING. In this case, ANGLE of incidence is same in all cases, therefore angle of refraction will maximum in 'c'. So, it has less refractive index and hence light suffers less bending, which increases its SPEED.
