two plot of land have the same parimeter. one is square of side 64 meter and the other is a rectangular of length 70 meter. find the breadth of the rectangular plot

Answer»

Answer:

GIVEN :

  • Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of square
  • Side of square = 64 m
  • Length of rectangle = 70 m

TO FIND :

Breadth

SOLUTION :

We know that

Perimeter of rectangle

\sf \pink{<klux>2</klux>(l + b)}

Perimeter of square

\sf \red{4s}

Now,

Finding perimeter of square

Perimeter = 4(64)

Perimeter = 256 m

For the third year he charges 6% pa for the third year, he charges 6%pa and so on. If helends a sum in this way at simple interest, find the least integral number of years in which it will fetch aninterest at least equal to it self.

Answer»

Answer:

10 years

Since this is simple INTEREST we dont calculate interest after adding interest.

Let the initial AMOUNT be 100

Thus in the first year the amount is 102 in the second year since the rate is 4%, This is 4% of 100 and not 102 Thus we add 4 to 102

Thus the AMOUNTS go like this

100 -> 102 -> 106 -> 112 -> 120 -> 130 -> 142 -> 156 -> 172 -> 190 -> 210

The numerator of a fraction is 3 less than its denominator. if 2 is added to both the numerator and the denominator, then the sum of new fraction and orignal fraction is 29/20. find the original fraction.

Answer»

Topic :-

Linear Equations

Given :-

The numerator of a fraction is 3 less than its DENOMINATOR. If 2 is added to both the numerator and the denominator, then the sum of new fraction and original fraction is 29/20.

To Find :-

Original Fraction

Solution :-

Let denominator of fraction be 'x'.

Then numerator will be ' x - 3 ' as it is 3 less than denominator.

So, original fraction is

\dfrac{x-3}{x}

Add 2 to both numerator and denominator,

New fraction

\dfrac{x-3+2}{x+2}

\dfrac{x-1}{x+2}

Add both fractions,

\dfrac{x-3}{x}+\dfrac{x-1}{x+2}=\dfrac{29}{20}

\dfrac{(x-3)(x+2)+x(x-1)}{x(x+2)}=\dfrac{29}{20}

\dfrac{x^2+2x-3x-6+x^2-x}{x(x+2)}=\dfrac{29}{20}

\dfrac{2x^2-2x-6}{x^2+2x}=\dfrac{29}{20}

Now, CROSS multiply,

20( 2x² - 2x - 6 ) = 29( x² + 2x )

40x² - 40x - 120 = 29x² + 58x

40x² - 29x² - 40x - 58x - 120 = 0

11x² - 98x - 120 = 0

11x² - 110x + 12X - 120 = 0

11x( x - 10 ) + 12( x - 10 ) = 0

( 11x + 12 )( x - 10 ) = 0

11x + 12 = 0

x = -12/11 or

x - 10 = 0

x = 10

So, x = 10 or -12/11

Original Fraction

\dfrac{x-3}{x}

Put x = 10,

\dfrac{10-3}{10}

\dfrac{7}{10}

Put x = -12/11,

\dfrac{\dfrac{-12}{11}-3}{\dfrac{-12}{11}}

\dfrac{\dfrac{-45}{11}}{\dfrac{-12}{11}}

Answer :-

So, original fractions are

\dfrac{7}{10} and

\dfrac{\dfrac{-45}{11}}{\dfrac{-12}{11}}

Paragraph on sarswati puja

Answer»

Answer:

Goddess Saraswati is regarded as the goddess of learning and MUSIC. It is believed that she is robed in white. She carries a lyre. She is seated on a lotus. She bestows vidya which means learning.

Therefore, the Saraswati Puja is-a popular festival of the Students. It is celebrated by the Students in almost all schools and colleges of Orissa, Bihar and West Bengal. It is celebrated on the fifth day in the month of Magha, especially in spring season. Therefore this festival is also called the Basanta Panchami. All educational institutions REMAIN closed on this day. Students worship, the goddess with great joy.

Preparation for the celebration begins with the collection, of subscription from the students. The idol of the goddess Saraswati is placed in a hall which is properly cleaned and decorated with coloured papers. The idol is also decorated with such flowers as marigold and ROSE. The image looks sublime and the ATMOSPHERE grand.

This is an auspicious day for the students. They abstain from reading and writing on this day only as a mark of respect to the goddess. Notwithstanding this austere OBSERVANCE, students enjoy this festival with great pleasure. A learned Hindu Priest is invited to perform the holy Puja of the goddess.

Normally students wear new dress on this day. They pray the goddess for wisdom; they also offer flowers to the deity and sing the prayer-song in her honour. Another remarkable feature of the Puja is the breaking of coconuts in front of the deity. The Prasad is shared by the students, teachers and the guests.

the angle of quadrilaterals are in the ratio 3 ratio 5 ratio 9 ratio thirteen ratio. find all the the angles of quadrilaterals

Answer»

Question-:

  • The angles of quadrilateral are in ratio 3 : 5 : 9 : 13 .Find all angles of quadrilateral.

AnswEr-:

  • \underline{\boxed{\mathrm {\dag{\red{  The\:measure \:\:of\;all\:angles\:of\:Quadrilateral \:are\:36^{0} ,60^{⁰} , 108^{⁰}\:and\:156^{⁰}}}}}}

Explanation-:

  • \sf{<klux>GIVEN</klux> \:That-:}

  • The angles of quadrilateral are in ratio 3 : 5 : 9 : 13 .

  • \sf{To \:Find-:}

  • The all angles of Quadrilateral.

\dag{\mathrm{Solution \:For \:Question \:-: }}

  • \sf{Let's \:Assume-:}

  • The all angles of quadrilateral be 3X , 5X , 9x and 13 x .

Then ,

  • \frak{All\:Angle \: -:} \begin{cases} \sf{Angle\:1\:or\:\angle A= \frak{3x^{0}}} & \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:2\:or\:\angle B\:=\:\frak{5x^{0}}}& \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:3:or\:\angle C\:=\:\frak{9x^{0}}}& \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:4\:or\:\angle D\:=\:\frak{13x^{0}}}\end{cases} \\\\

  • As we know that ,

  • \underline{\boxed{\mathrm {\dag{\red{  The\:toatl\:sum\:of\;angles\:of\:Quadrilateral \:is\:360^{0}}}}}}

  • Or ,

  • \underline{\boxed{\mathrm {\dag{\red{\angle A  + \angle B + \angle C + \angle D \:=\:360^{0}}}}}}

Here ,

  • \frak{Here\: -:} \begin{cases} \sf{Angle\:1\:or\:\angle A= \frak{3x^{0}}} & \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:2\:or\:\angle B\:=\:\frak{5x^{0}}}& \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:3:or\:\angle C\:=\:\frak{9x^{0}}}& \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:4\:or\:\angle D\:=\:\frak{13x^{0}}}\end{cases} \\\\

  • Now by putting known or Given Values-:

  • \longrightarrow {\mathrm {3x + 5x + 9x + 13 x = 360^{⁰}}}

  • \longrightarrow {\mathrm {8x + 9x + 13 x = 360^{⁰}}}

  • \longrightarrow {\mathrm {17x + 13 x = 360^{⁰}}}

  • \longrightarrow {\mathrm {30 x = 360^{⁰}}}

  • \longrightarrow {\mathrm {x = \dfrac{\cancel {360}}{\cancel {30}}}}

  • \longrightarrow {\mathrm { x = 12 }}

Therefore-:

  • \longrightarrow{\mathrm{ x = 12 }}

Now ,

  • \frak{By\:Putting \:x =12-:} \begin{cases} \sf{Angle\:1\:or\:\angle A= \frak{3x=3\times 12=36^{⁰}}} & \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:2\:or\:\angle B\:=\:\frak{5x=5\times 12 = 60^{⁰}}}& \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:3:or\:\angle C\:=\:\frak{9x= 9 \times 12 = 108^{⁰}}}& \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:4\:or\:\angle D\:=\:\frak{13x= 13 \times 12 = 156^{⁰}}}\end{cases} \\\\

Hence ,

  • \underline{\boxed{\mathrm {\dag{\red{  The\:measure \:\:of\;all\:angles\:of\:Quadrilateral \:are\:36^{0} ,60^{⁰} , 108^{⁰}\:and\:156^{⁰}}}}}}

\huge {\mathrm { ♡Verification-: }}

  • \underline{\boxed{\mathrm {\dag{\red{  The\:toatl\:sum\:of\;angles\:of\:Quadrilateral \:is\:360^{0}}}}}}
  • Or ,
  • \underline{\boxed{\mathrm {\dag{\red{\angle A  + \angle B + \angle C + \angle D \:=\:360^{0}}}}}}

\frak{Here-:} \begin{cases} \sf{Angle\:1\:or\:\angle A= \frak{36^{⁰}}} & \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:2\:or\:\angle B\:=\:\frak{ 60^{⁰}}}& \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:3:or\:\angle C\:=\:\frak{ 108^{⁰}}}& \\\\ \sf{ Angle\:4\:or\:\angle D\:=\:\frak{156^{⁰}}}\end{cases} \\\\

Now , By Putting known and Given Values-:

  • \longrightarrow {\mathrm {36 + 60 + 108 + 156  = 360^{⁰}}}

  • \longrightarrow {\mathrm {96+ 264 = 360^{⁰}}}

  • \longrightarrow {\mathrm {360^{⁰} = 360^{⁰}}}

Therefore ,

  • \longrightarrow {\mathrm {LHS = RHS}}

  • \longrightarrow {\mathrm {Hence\:Verified!}}

1 ते n नैसर्गिक सम संख्यांची बेरीज 462 आहे, तर n ची किंमत काढा.

Answer»

Step-by-step EXPLANATION:

Given If the sum of n natural even numbers is 462, then find the value of n.

  • Let SN be the sum of  numbers.
  • So the first even natural numbers are 2,4,6,8,10…………n
  • here a = 2, d = 2
  • So we have Sn = n/2 (2a + (n – 1)d)
  •                  462 = n/2 ( 2(2) + (n – 1) 2)
  •                 462 = n/2 (4 + 2N – 2)
  •                 462 = n/2 (2 + 2n)
  •                             2n^2 + 2n – 924 = 0
  •                        n^2 + n – 462 = 0
  •                       n^2 + 22n – 21n – 462 = 0
  •                        n(n + 22) – 21 (n + 22) = 0
  •                         (n + 22) (n – 21) = 0
  •                           n = - 22, 21
  •    So the value of n is 21

Can anyone solve this plz

Answer»

To Find:

\Longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{sinA}{1 + cosA} + \dfrac{1 + cosA}{sinA}

Taking LCM we get:

\Longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{(sinA)(sinA) + (1 + cosA)(1 + cosA)}{(1 + cosA)(sinA)}

Using (a + B)(a + b) = (a + b)² we get:

\Longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{sin^2A + (1 + cosA)^2}{(1 + cosA)(sinA)}

Using (a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab we get:

\Longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{sin^2A + (1)^{2}  + (cosA)^2 + 2(1)(cosA)}{(1 + cosA)(sinA)}

\Longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{sin^2A + 1 + cos^2A + 2cosA}{(1 + cosA)(sinA)}

\Longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{sin^2A + cos^2A + 1 + 2cosA}{(1 + cosA)(sinA)}

Using the identity sin²A + cos²A = 1 we get:

\Longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{1 + 1 + 2cosA}{(1 + cosA)(sinA)}

\Longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{2 + 2cosA}{(1 + cosA)(sinA)}

TAKE 2 out since it's common to both 2 and 2cosA.

\Longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{2(1 + cosA)}{(1 + cosA)(sinA)}

Cancelling (1 + cosA) in the numerator & DENOMINATOR we get:

\Longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{2}{sinA}

\Longrightarrow \sf 2 \times \dfrac{1}{sinA}

Using 1/sinA = cosecA

\Longrightarrow \sf 2cosecA

Hence solved.
