W us poem.Activity Based Question:Look at the pictures given below and express yourself in a paragraph titled -'The Simple Joysof Life. You must mention why you value certain things even more today. (120-150 words)

Answer»

The Simple JOYS of Life

Given the PANDEMIC that we are facing worldwide, and how life has come to a standstill in many ways, appreciating the little joys of life has become even more important than ever before. Prior to the pandemic, there were many ways of enjoying, especially through socialising, but now since we are home-bound, the sources of joy have changed. We have been forced to stop and pay attention to what matters the most to us. Most of us have realised that attending big, glamourous parties or weddings is not necessary for strengthening of bonds. Even a simple phone call from a friend is enough to give us joy. Similarly, managing to cook up a dish or receiving a compliment from a teacher is more than enough to make the day. Nature too offers us many sources of joy, that we EARLIER ignored. Now that we are more sensitive to our surroundings, we pay attention to the cuckoo bird's song, to the butterfly flitting around, or even a sapling GROWING from a seed planted in a POT on the balcony. Similarly, the sunrise and sunset, the sight of the full moon and the breeze are all things that we can appreciate and enjoy. Surprisingly, they have always existed, but we have started enjoying them more consciously now, because the pandemic has changed our perspective towards life drastically.
