Answer» Answer: I think the answer is——> 4-bromo,1 (4,4-dimethylpent-2-ene)benzene Explanation: Bromine is a halogen GRP member and hence, ALWAYS prefixed. It has less PRIORITY than C=C. The reason why we wouldn’t consider the long carbon grp (with the DOUBLE BOND) as the parent chain is because it has less no. of carbons than in the benzene ring. |

What is Newton's law of motion?? |
Answer» NEWTON's laws of motion relate an object's motionto the forces ACTING on it. In the first LAW, an object will not change its motion UNLESS a force acts on it.In the third law, when two objects interact, they apply forces to each other of equal magnitude and opposite direction. What is meant by canonical structures? Draw canonical structures and hybrid structuresof nitromethane and benzene. |
Answer» Answer: in chemistry, canonical STRUCTURES is a way of representing or describing the delocalized electrons within certain molecules or polyatomic ions (LIKE is SULFATE, phosphate ions) where the bonding cannot be expressed in terms of single LEWIS structure.A "canonical structure" is also known as a resonance structure, i.e. one of POSSIBLY more than one contributing structures that combine to produce the true, resonance hybrid structure. #follow me plz mark me as brainliest plz |

Explain carbon cycle using four important processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, decomposition and combustion |
Answer» Carbon is one of the most prevalent elements which constitute all forms of LIFE on Earth. Like water, carbon undergoes a natural cycle of formation and disintegration. It shows how carbon atoms are CAPABLE of existing in different compounds in different phases of time. Step 1 :- Carbon enters the atmosphere in the form of carbon dioxide (gaseous state), due to RESPIRATION (from microorganisms and other lifeforms) and combustion. Step 2 :- Carbon dioxide is absorbed by plants to manufacture GLUCOSE (which consists of 6 carbon atoms) with the help of photosynthesis. Step 3 :- Animals consume these plants, thus the carbon compounds in the latter pass along the food chain. Most of the carbon they consume is EXHALED as carbon dioxide that was formed during aerobic respiration. The animals and plants eventually die. Step 4 :- In case of dead plants, decomposers break them down. This leads to the return of carbon to the atmosphere, as the decomposers now carry it within their bodies and exhale it. If decomposition does not occur, the plant and animal material eventually transform into fossils over a span of centuries. |

The no. of miles of nitrogen in one litre of air containing 10%of nitrogen by volume under standard conditions, isNo spam Verified answer required. |
Answer» The volume of nitrogen in the mixture is: 10% of the mixture = 10/100 X 1 liter = 0.1 LITERS Use ideal GAS law to calculate the moles of the nitrogen gas. Ideal gas law states that 1 MOLE of an ideal gas occupies 22.4 liters by volume. Therefore, If 22.4 liters gives 1 mole, then what will 0.1 mole give? = ( 0.1 x1/22.4) liters. (use cross MULTIPLICATION to come up with the answer)
= 0.1/22.4

All reactions are addition reaction but they are not synthesis reaction..why?? |
Answer» Answer: Addition reactions are TYPICAL of unsaturated organic compounds—i.e., alkenes, which contain a carbon-to-carbon double bond, and alkynes, which have a carbon-to-carbon triple bond—and aldehydes and ketones, which have a carbon-to-oxygen double bond. An addition reaction may be visualized as a process by which the double or triple bonds are FULLY or partially broken in order to ACCOMMODATE additional atoms or groups of atoms in the molecule. Addition reactions to alkenes and alkynes are SOMETIMES called saturation reactions because the reaction causes the carbon atoms to become saturated with the maximum number of ATTACHED groups. |

The radius of a sector is 21cm and it central angle is 120 . Find the perimeter of sector |
Answer» consider a full sphere of radius 21 cm. what is the perimeter of that full CIRCLE? it is 2 pi R = 42pi now, we know a full circle has an ANGLE 360 so a sector having angle 120 is (120/360) of a complete circle right? ( I just took the ratio of the angle of sector to the angle of the sphere) 120/360 = 1/3 so sector = 1/3 x full circle therefore perimeter or circumference of the sector = 1/3 x perimeter of circle = 1/3 x 42pi =14pi = 14 x 3.14 = 43.96 =44.0 |

Answer» To liquefy a GAS we need to bring the gas MOLECULES together very close to each other. This is achieved by compressing them using high pressures. At very high pressures, the boiling point of the liquid rises. So at practically achievable temperatures, the GASES can liquefy and EXIST as liquids.......
