Why convex mirror is called a diverging mirror?

Answer» When parallel light rays fall on the surface of convex mirror then after reflection those rays seem to meet (diverge) at a single point but actually they do not meet. So, it is called diverging mirror. Concave mirror is called a converging mirror because parallel rays of light fall on the mirror they converge at a point called focus.
Because it diverge the light

What is snell s law

Answer» The ratio of sine of angle of incidence to the sine of angle of refraction is constant , for a light of given colour and for a given pair of media. This is known as snell\'s law of refraction.
Sini =Sinr
The ratio of sin of angle of incident to sin of angle of refraction is always constant.Sin i/Sin r =u (mu).It is called snell\'s law

What are the function of Ozone layer

Answer» The main function of Ozone layer is absorb the Sun\'s ultraviolet radiation, hences protecting the earth from its harmful effect.✔
Ozone present in the upper regions of the atmosphere protects us from dangerous UV radiations.Formation of ozone layer:Ozone at the higher levels of the atomosphere is a product of UV radiation acting on oxygen molecule. The higher energy UV radiations split apart some molecular oxygen into free oxygen (O) atoms. These atoms then combine with the molecular oxygen to from ozone as shown:O2\xa0→ O+ OOxygen and single oxygen combines to form ozone.Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) are responsible for the depletion of ozone layer. These compounds enter the atmosphere through sprays, aerosols, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc., which use CFCs.
It absorbe the ultra voilet rays which causes cancer

Explain excretion in human beings in detail for 5 marks

Answer» Excretory system contain a pair of kidney ,two ureters ,a urinary bladder and a urethra .The unit of kidney is nephron . Kidneys are most important part of excretory system. There are two main steps for urine formation :1. Ultrafiltration of blood:The blood present in glomerulus is rich in nitrogenous waste .It is filtered out across the capilary wall and wall of Bowman\'s capsule.2.Reabsorbtion of useful substances :After filtration useful substances like glucose ,amino acid, excess water are re absorbed by tubule .After re absorbtion only urea ,uric acid ,some unwanted salt and some amount of water is left behind in tubule . This liquid form is urine .Urine is slightly acidic ,pale coloured liquid which contain water ,urea ,uric acid and some salt.3. Secretion: The urine is secreted into the tubule which open up into collecting duct and then into ureter.
\tA pair of kidneys, a pair of ureters, a urinary bladder and a urethra constitutes the human excretory system.\tKidneys are present on either side of the backbone in the abdomen.\tKidneys produce urine and urine from kidney passes through the ureters into the urinary bladder and remains stored their until it is released through the urethra.\tUrine is produced to filter out waste products from the blood.\tNephrons are basic structural and functional unit of kidney.\tCluster of thin walled blood capillaries called glomerulus in the nephron filtrate the urine and each cluster is associated with cup shaped end of a tube called Bowman’s capsule.\tSubstances like glucose, amino acids, salts and a major amount of water is selectively reabsorbed from the initial filtrate as the urine flows along the tube.\tReabsorption depends on the amount of excess water in the body and dissolved waste to be excreted.\tThe urine from kidney enters the long tube called ureter.\tUreter connects the kidney with the urinary bladder and urine from the kidney is passed to urinary bladder and stored in the bladder.\tWhen the pressure in the expanded bladder leads to the urge to urinate, the urine is passed out through urethra.
First kidney then bladder then urethra then out then toilet then gattar then patiala

what are the limitations of newland\'s?????

Answer» thanks you both for answer me
Newlands assumed that only 56 elements existed in nature and no more elements would be further discovered in the nearer future. But later on several new elements were discovered, whose properties couldn’t be defined as per the Law of Octaves. In order to fit elements into law of octaves Newlands not only adjusted two elementsin the same slot but also adjusted some unlike elements under the same note.Cobalt and nickel are in the same slot and are positioned in the same column with fluorine, chlorine and bromine possessing different properties than these elements.Iron possessing similar properties as cobalt and nickel, is placed far away from these elementsThus, Newlands’ Law of Octaves can be obeyed well by the lighter elements only.
Abe ye koin sa answer hai
Limitations of law of octaves: The law of octaves has the following limitations ; (A) The law of octaves was found to be applicable only upto calcium. It was not applicable to elements of higher atomic masses. ... (C) Newlands placed two elements in the same slot to fit elements in the table.

Answer» Exchang of ions is known as Double displacement Rxn.
The reaction in which two compound to exchange their ion to form to new compound is calked double displacement reaction.
When a more reactive metal from its salt solution or compound displaces another less reactive from its salt solution or compound due to which exchange of ions occur, such reactions are called double displacement reaction
The reaction in exchange of ions take place betw3en reactantband product

Why do star twinkle ?

Answer» The star is twinkling due to causes by atmospheric refraction that is in that time the distance between star and earth maximum so this refraction have more so the star is twinkling.
They do not twinkle in real but they appears to twinkle because of atmospheric refraction.?.
The star we see with naked eye doesn\'t twinkle in real. But due too refraction(change in path of light due to change in medium i.e. form vaccum to air) we feelthat star does twinkle

Answer» The image is formed at non sensitive cell is called Blind spot. In this situation person is not able to see.
When image is not sent to the brain that point is called blind spot
Blind spot is the region on the retina of the eye and is called as optic disc. Images are not detected by this region of the eye as it is devoid of photoreceptors (rods and cones). This is the region through which optic nerve leaves the eye to reach the brain. This region also provides a gap through which blood vessels enter the eye to supply blood to all parts of the eye.

Why should a magnesium ribbon clean before burning in air

Answer» Magnesium is a metal and it reacta with air and moisture to form basic layer of magnesium carbonate and magnesium ozide which do not catch fire .So it should be cleaned before burning in air
To clean oxidised layer on magnesium ribbon
There is a layer of oxide on magnesium ribbon so it is necessary to rub it so that oxide layer can remove
Magnesium reacts with oxygen and forms a layer of magnesium oxide when kept in air.Hence magnesium ribbon is cleaned with sand paper before burning in air for further oxidation.
Because tyere may be some dust on it which may lead to problems
