A Report on a Seminar on ‘No Detention Policy up to VIII standard

A seminar on ‘No Detention Policy up to VIII standard was organised by the society of public schools under the chairmanship of the Education Minister. Eminent academicians from various educational institutions and school teachers participated in the deliberations held in the Seminar Hall of the Happy School. Most speakers were of the opinion that the ‘No detention Policy’ was not conducive to proper grounding of children who, as a result of this, found it difficult to cope up with studies in higher classes. Those who supported the policy advocated for its continuance, citing the inordinate pressure of performing well, that discouraged young children from studies.

Report on the Insanitary Condition

Most of the roads and streets in Vinoba Nagar of Purani Abadi are dirty. The sweepers do not perform their duty. There are pits full of water. The drains are overflowing and blocked. There are heaps of garbage everywhere. The whole Vinoba Nagar is full of mosquitoes. Insanitation problem takes place again and again in the locality. The rainy season is also approaching. During the rainy season, the problem becomes more serious. Any mishappening may take place at any time. Some epidemics may break out if necessary steps are not immediately taken by the authorities. The inhabitants of the locality are in great trouble.

पुरानी आबादी में विनोबा नगर की अधिकांश सड़कें व गलियाँ गन्दी हैं। सफाई कर्मचारी अपना कार्य नहीं करते हैं। गड्ढे पानी से भरे हुए हैं। नालियाँ बन्द हैं और पानी ऊपर से होकर बह रहा है। वहाँ हर तरफ कचरे के ढेर लगे हैं। पूरा विनोबा नगर मच्छरों से भरा है। इस क्षेत्र में सफाई की समस्या बार-बार होती है। वर्षा का मौसम भी आ रहा है। बारिश के दिनों में समस्या और भी गंभीर हो जाती है। किसी भी समय कोई भी दुर्घटना हो सकती है। यदि सम्बन्धित अधिकारियों द्वारा तुरन्त आवश्यक कदम नहीं उठाये गये तो कोई भी महामारी फैल सकती है। इस क्षेत्र के निवासी बहुत मुश्किल में हैं।

Power Failure in Gadara

Power failure in Gadara has disturbed the daily life of the villagers. No work can be done without electricity. There is no water supply due to it. It is the time of examination but students cannot study without electricity. Sometimes the light goes off for several hours and if there is light, there are ups and downs in the voltage. Many electric appliances have been damaged by the high voltage. On the other hand, no electric appliance works properly due to low voltage. Power fails not only during the day but also at night. So there are possibilities of theft and accidents. Repeated complaints have been made to the concerned higher authorities but no action has been taken yet.

विद्युत व्यवधान ने गडरा के दैनिक जीवन को अस्त व्यस्त कर दिया है। बिजली के बगैर कोई भी कार्य नहीं किया जा सकता है। इसकी वजह से जलापूर्ति भी नहीं हो पाती है। यह परीक्षा का समय है लेकिन बिजली के बगैर विद्यार्थी पढ़ भी नहीं सकते हैं। कभी-कभी बिजली कई घण्टों के लिए चली जाती है और यदि बिजली आती भी है तो वोल्टेज में उतार चढ़ाव होता है। उच्च वोल्टेज के कारण कई सारे विद्युत उपकरण नष्ट हो गये हैं। दूसरी ओर कम वोल्टेज की वजह से कई सारे विद्युत उपकरण सही प्रकार से काम नहीं करते हैं। बिजली ना केवल दिन को बल्कि रात को भी जाती है। इसलिए चोरी व दुर्घटनाओं की सम्भावना रहती है। संबंधित उच्चाधिकारियों को कई शिकायतें की गई लेकिन कोई लाभ नहीं हुआ।

Report on Conservation of Water

Yesterday, various social organisations conducted a campaign to create awareness among people. Nobody on earth can imagine life without water. Due to a shortage of water, the problem has become very serious in Ajmer. People are going to very distant places in search of water. Realising the shortage and importance of water, many people have started conserving water. Rainwater is a gift from God. We should harvest it so that it can be utilized in summers. In the campaign, many experts taught people how to conserve water, especially rainwater. Rainwater may be used for toilets, washing clothes, cleaning floors, watering plants and vehicles, etc.

कल, बहुत से सामाजिक संगठनों ने लोगों में जागरुकता लाने के लिये एक अभियान चलाया। धरती पर बिना पानी के जीवन की कल्पना कोई भी नहीं कर सकता। पानी की कमी के कारण अजमेर में गंभीर समस्या उत्पन्न हो गयी है। पानी की तलाश में लोग दूर-दूर तक जा रहे हैं। पानी की कमी और महत्व को समझते हुए, बहुत से लोगों ने पानी का संरक्षण करना शुरू कर दिया है। वर्षा का पानी ईश्वर का एक उपहार है। हमें इसको एकत्र करना चाहिये जिससे कि इसका उपयोग गर्मियों में किया जा सके। अभियान में बहुत से विशेषज्ञों ने लोगों को बताया कि पानी का संरक्षण, विशेष रूप से वर्षा के पानी का संरक्षण कैसे करें। वर्षा के पानी का प्रयोग शौचालय, कपड़ों की धुलाई, फर्श की सफाई पौधों को पानी देने व वाहनों की धुलाई आदि के लिये किया जा सकता है।

Inter-Class Football Matches:

Baya, 20 April
Government Senior Secondary School, Baya, organized an Inter-Class Football match last week. The match was organized on 10th & 11th April during its sports week from April 9th to 15th. The match was inaugurated by the principal of the school. Five teams of class XII (section A, B, C, D & E) participated in the qualifying round. Rajasthan Royals (XII B) and Rajasthan Tigers (XII D) qualified for the final round. Arun Kumar was the captain of Rajasthan Royals team and Shubham Prasad was the captain of Rajasthan Tigers team. After a tough fight, Rajasthan Royals won the match. Amish Kumar was declared the man of the match.

” बाय के Government Senior Secondary School में बीते सप्ताह एक अन्र्तवर्गीय फुटबॉल मैच का आयोजन किया। यह मैच विद्यालय के खेल सप्ताह जो 9 अप्रैल से 15 अप्रैल तक चलता है, के बीच 10 और 11 अप्रैल को हुआ। मैच का शुभारंभ विद्यालय के प्राचार्य ने किया। कक्षा XII की 5 टीमों (A, B, C, D & E) ने qualifying round में भाग लिया। राजस्थान रायल्स (XII B) और राजस्थान Tigers (XII D) Final round के लिए घोषित हुए। राजस्थान रायल्स टीम के कप्तान अरुण कुमार थे तथा राजस्थान टाइगर्स टीम के कप्तान शुभम प्रसाद थे। कठिन प्रतियोगिता के बाद राजस्थान रायल्स ने मैच को जीत लिया। अमिश कुमार को Man of the Match (सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी) घोषित किया गया।
