What Are Day Types?

Day type indicates that a certain calendar day is payment- relevant, that is, an employee is paid for working that day. System Application PRODUCTS in DATA PROCESSING (SAP) DEFINES the following day types:

  •  0/blank —Refers to working and paid
  •  1 —Refers to off or paid
  •  2— Refers to off or unpaid
  •  3—Refers to off, SPECIAL day, or paid
