1.	Give the full form of MRTP and state the reasons behind the formulation of this act.
Answer» MRTP Act means Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969. This act was framed to prevent enterprises from growing in large scale and establish monopolies. Later, MRTP Act was replaced by Competition Act, 2002 which aimed at reducing unhealthy competition among enterprises arising due to MRTP act.
