Handling of sewage pumps -sewage lines, maintenance of such sewage lines environment impact studies when developing new residential area/factories

Answer»

Answer:

Explanation:

How to handle sewage dumps

Sewage disposal can be controlled via use of septic tanks and treatment plants.

1- Septic tanks are basically UNDERGROUND containers which can be used for getting rid off human waste.

Whatever waste exists get stuck to the BOTTOM of the septic tank and becomes sludge.

Solid waste breaks down and remaining material floating above in a layer, for example like oils, gets rid separately.

Next comes the,

Treatment Plant's which may be set up which can first break down and SECONDLY treat waste. After the septic tank does its job, the waste floats into the treatment plant. These plants come into use for the sake of handling liquids which have been disposed off.

How to handle sewage maintenance

To handle sewage maintenance, a professional works. There is a professional CONTRACTOR who regularly functions on how to pump out he septic system. This authoritative PERSON pumps out every two to three years.

A small object is so placed in front of the convex lens of 5cm focal length that a virtual image is formed at a distance of 25 cm. Find the magnification.

Answer»

Answer:

+6

Explanation:

Given:

f=5

v= -25

Applying the Lens formula

1/v -1/u = 1/f

1/(-25) -1/u = 1/5

or, 1/u = 1/(-25) - 1/5

1/u = -6/25

u = -25/6

Now, MAGNIFICATION M

M = v/u

= (-25) / (-25/6)

= +6

What is momentum and its types?

Answer»

Answer:

\huge\underline\pink{\tt Hey\:Mate}

Momentum :-

Momentum  is the product of the mass and velocity of an object. It is a vector quantity, possessing a magnitude and a DIRECTION in three-dimensional space. If m is an object's mass and V is the velocity (also a vector), then the momentum is p=mv, In SI units, it is measured in KILOGRAM meters per second (kg⋅m/s).

There are four types of Momentum :-

Angular Momentum.

Linear Momentum.

Conceptual Momentum.

Inertia.

Apply lens makers formula for different types of lenses.

Answer»

Lens manufacturers use the lens maker’s formula to manufacture lenses of the desired focal LENGTH. Lenses of different focal length are used for different optical instruments. The focal length of a lens depends on the refractive index of the lens and the radii of curvature. The lens maker’s equation is another formula used for lenses that give us a relationship between the focal length, refractive index, and radii of curvature of the two SPHERES used in lenses.

The lens maker’s equation for thin lenses is as given below as;

1f = (n−1)(1R1 − 1R2)

where,

f is the focal length (half the radius of curvature)

n is the refractive index of the material used

R1 is the radius of curvature of sphere 1

R2 is the radius of curvature of sphere 2

As previously mentioned, this equation can be used only for thin lenses. Lenses where the thickness is lesser, such that they are considered NEGLIGIBLE in comparison to the radius of curvature, are referred to as thin lenses.

If the thickness of lens has to be considered in comparison to the radius of curvature, the following lens formula for thick lenses can be used.

1f = (n−1)[1R1 − 1R2 + (n−1)dn×R1×R2]

where,

d is the thickness of the lens in consideration.

Another situation which has to be considered is the lens maker’s formula accounting for objects that are present in different media. The equation is as follows,

1f=[n1n2 − 1] × [R1 − R2R1 × R2]

where,

n1 is the refractive index of the lens in consideration

n2 is the refractive index of the medium outside

Have you asked yourself this question? “What is the significance of ignoring the thickness sometimes and considering it sometimes?”

Well, the answer to that is when the light ray travels from a medium of, SAY air, to the medium of the lens, it undergoes refraction. But when it travels from the medium of the lens to that of the air, it undergoes refraction again. The double refraction can be ignored if the lenses in optics are thin enough to make the assumption that light is refracted only once. This is done to make ray optics calculations simpler, but the first step would be to identify what constitutes thin and thick lenses.

Limitations of Lens Maker’s Formula

The lens needs to be thin. This is because the separation between the two refracting surfaces will also be small.

The medium on either side of the lens needs to be the same.

On violation of any of the limitation then the refraction at the curved surface formula is used for both the surfaces.

Helpful Sign Conventions

For a Convex (converging) Lens

R1 = positive

R2 = negative

f = positive

For a Concave (diverging) Lens

R1 = negative

R2 = positive

f = negative

What is OHM's law ??only cf answer

Answer»

Hello dear

OHM's Law is a formula used to CALCULATE the relationship between voltage, current and resistance in an electrical circuit.

To students of electronics, Ohm's Law (E = IR) is as FUNDAMENTALLY important as Einstein's RELATIVITY equation (E = mc²) is to physicists.

E = I x R

When spelled out, it means voltage = current x resistance, or volts = amps x ohms, or V = A x Ω.

Named for German physicist Georg Ohm (1789-1854), Ohm's Law addresses the key quantities at work in circuits
