Say no to obesity plz essay

Answer»

Obesity is a SERIOUS health condition and should not be taken lightly. There are many programs being conducted to raise awareness and help people overcome the problem of obesity. In fact, health advisories are seen giving speeches on obesity and advising people what should be eaten and what should not be eaten. If you are also grappling with the same condition or need some awareness on this subject, then our short speeches on obesity as well as long speeches on obesity can give you a comprehensive view and help you gain an insight into the topic. Browse through our pages and read more to explore more!It is very unfortunate that the word obese is made more common. At present, 30 percent of children and 25 percent of adults are considered as obese in the UK, which cost the National Health Survey around one billion pounds every year. The rates in our country, i.e. India, would definitely be alarming as almost every person NEXT door suffers from obesity issue.

The problem of obesity has to do a lot with our sedentary lifestyle and of course our eating habits. The number of calories intake suggested for men is three thousand five hundred whereas for women it’s two thousand calories. Whereas people who are thin may do regular WORK out and people who are overweight do not put any effort towards bringing their weight under control. As per the BBC report, three out of four obese people do not do any physical work out during the week.

As far as children and teenagers are concerned, they are more into electrical games, like the ‘Play Station’ and the ‘X box’. Due to electrical games, they spend most of their free time indoors and avoid going outside or doing physical activities. I, therefore, feel that the government should take some pro-active measures with respect to the growing numbers of obese children. According to me, one takes a path of obesity right from his/her childhood only. A child mostly EATS what his/her parents give him/her. I am sure, if they are given healthy food options or inculcated this habit of eating healthy food, they will never turn to the habit of eating unhealthy food and will always remain conscious of their health.
A fit body and a sound mind can lay strong foundation and can work towards a better tomorrow. So let’s make a point to enlighten as many people possible on this issue and encourage a healthy eating habit.

Pls answer the question:-A pen costs Rs.11 and a notebook costs Rs.13. Find the number of ways in which a person can spend exactly Rs. 1000 to buy pens and notebooks.fully explained and in nice way NO SPAM

Answer»

Answer:

There are 7 ways in which a person can spend exactly Rs. 1000 to buy pens and notebooks.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A pen costs Rs.11 and a notebook costs Rs.13.

To find : The number of ways in which a person can spend exactly Rs. 1000 to buy pens and notebooks?

Solution :

Let X be the number of pen.

Let y be the number of notebook.

According to question,

A pen costs Rs.11 and a notebook costs Rs.13.

i.e. Total COST 11x+13y

A person spend exactly Rs.1000.

Therefore, The required EQUATION form is 11x+13y=1000

or x=\frac{1000-13y}{11}

Now, For different value y there is different value of x.

y    5     16    27     38    49   60    71

x   85   72     59    46   33    20     7

Hence, There are 7 ways in which a person can spend exactly Rs. 1000 to buy pens and notebooks.

A number x when divided by 13 leaves a remainder 12.what is the value of (x)^13/13

Answer»

If a number 'a' and a number 'B' are divisible by a number 'n' then, a+b and a-b is ALSO divisible by n

=> let the number be n which divides 62, 132 and 237 leaving a reminder r

=> the required number then becomes H.C.F of 62-r, 132-r and 237-r

=> it could also be the H.C.F of
(132-r)-(62-r) and (237-r)-(132-r)

i.e. 70 and 105

=> H.C.F of 70 and 105 = 35

the required number n is 35.

In the figures given below AB||CD. EF is the transversal intersecting AB and CD at G and H respectively. Find the values of x and y. Give reasons

Answer»

Hi ,

It is given that ,

AB // CD , EF is the transversal .

i )
y = 3x ----( 1 )

2x + y = 180---( 2 )

2x + 3x = 180 [ from ( 1 ) ]

5x = 180

x = 180/5

x = 36°

Put x value in equation ( 1 ) , we get

y = 3 × 36 = 108°

ii )
2x + 15 = 3x - 20

15 + 20 = 3x - 2x

35 = x

x = 35°

iii )
[ Sum of interior angles same side of the

transversal ]

4X - 23 + 3x = 180°

7x = 180 + 23

7x = 203°

x = 203/7

x = 29°

I hope this HELPS you.

How to find factor of 224?

Answer»

224 is a composite number.

Prime factorization: 224 = 2 X 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 7, which can be written 224 = 2⁵ x 7

The exponents in the prime factorization are 5 and 1. ADDING one to each and multiplying we get (5 + 1)(1 + 1) = 6 x 2 = 12. Therefore 224 has 12 factors.

Factors of 224: 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 14, 16, 28, 32, 56, 112, 224

Factor pairs: 224 = 1 x 224, 2 x 112, 4 x 56, 7 x 32, 8 x 28, or 14 x 16

Taking the factor pair with the largest square number factor, we get √224 = (√16)( √14) = 4√14 ≈ 14.967
