I need a note on Abolition Of Slavery after French revolution?

Answer» \textbf{Hey mate! }

\textbf{Answer:}

\textbf{Abolition of Slavery}

➠ The Europeans started moving on to the unfamiliar and unknown lands in order to find work. This lead to the shortage of slaves and thus, in the seventeenth century, the slave trade began.

➠ The French MERCHANTS used to sail from their ports to the African ports in order to bring slaves. They bought the slaves from the local chieftains and later sold them to the plantation owners.

BORDEAUX and Nantes were the two FAMOUS ports and considered prosperous for the slave trade. These two ports came into limelight in the abolition of slavery.

➠ The National Assembly held a long discussion on the abolition of slavery but they couldn't DECIDE anything and couldn't reach to any conclusion as they were feared of the big businessmen who's family income was fully dependent on the slave trade.

➠ The slavery was somehow abolished by the Jacobin regime but later after a period of ten years, the military dictator Napoleon Bonaparte reintroduced slavery. Slavery was finally abolished in 1848.

How children were trained under racism?

Answer»

The child is appreciated for who he is, REGARDLESS of what he can or can’t do.

The child is not typecast. Generalizations like “shy,” “loud,” “bossy,” are not used, and put-downs like “bratty,” “whiny,” and “stupid” are also off-limits.

The child’s curiosity is supported. When questions are asked about why people look or act the way they do, those questions are warmly answered at a level the child can understand. In other words, it’s OK to be interested in all aspects of being human.

The child is not compared to others, and judgments like “BAD,” “good,” “better,” and “best” aren’t used to classify him or other people. This means, for instance, that when asked why some people are sent to jail, a parent would explain that those people have done something SERIOUSLY hurtful to someone else, not that those are bad people. Or, a parent would ask a child who is kicking others under the dinner table to wrap his legs around the chair legs rather than telling him he’s a bad boy.

The child is not intimidated for having upsets about the THINGS that matter to him. In particular, the child is allowed to express feelings with crying, tantrums, and “freedom of the mouth” while crying or tantruming. You, as parent, will often set limits that upset your child. That’s your job, and it’s an important one. However, your child’s job is then to blast away the bad feelings that those limits bring forth, so he can recover his sense that you care and that his life is a good one. When a child cries, has a tantrum, or storms in response to a limit, he is using an inborn healing and cleansing process. He needs your attention while he gets rid of AWFUL feelings. It restores your child’s sense that his life is good, and his trust in you and others.

The child is not hit, slapped, threatened with physical attack, shamed, or blamed. These kinds of attacks by adults leave big emotional scars on children, and impress them with the notion that some people deserve to be called “bad” and then mistreated.

It was a type of trading of slaves AMONG Europe, Africa and Americans.

The Europeans were reluctant to GO to their overseas colonies and work there.
And this met in a SHORTAGE of labour in the colonies.

So, the French merchants TRAVELLED all the way to the African coast by boats/ships. And is is the local chieftains in Africa who sold the slaves.

Crature had played in important role in development of nationalism durring 18th and 19th centurey suppart statement

Answer»

Culture played an important role in creating the idea of the nation: art and poetry, stories and music helped express and shape nationalist feelings.effort was to create a sense of a shared collective heritage, a common cultural past, as the basis of a nation. Other Romantics such as the German philosopher JOHANN Gottfried Herder (1744-1803) claimed that true German culture was to be discovered among the common people – das volk. It was through folk SONGS, folk poetry and folk dances that the true spirit of the nation (volksgeist) was popularised. So collecting and recording these forms of folk culture was essential to the project of nation-building.
The emphasis on vernacular language and the collection of local folklore was not just to recover an ancient national spirit, but ALSO to carry the modern nationalist MESSAGE to large audiences who were mostly illiterate. This was especially so in the case of Poland, which had been partitioned at the end of the eighteenth century by the Great Powers – Russia, Prussia and Austria. Even though Poland no longer existed as an independent territory, national feelings were kept alive through music and language. Karol Kurpinski, for example, celebrated the national STRUGGLE through his operas and music, turning folk dances like the polonaise and mazurka into nationalist symbols.

Plz give a short note on Vienna congress????

Answer»

Vienna CONGRESS#
The Congress of Vienna (German: Wiener Kongress) also called Vienna Congress, was a meeting of ambassadors of EUROPEAN states chaired by Austrian statesman Klemens von Metternich, and held in Vienna from November 1814 to June 1815, though the delegates had arrived and were already negotiating by late September 1814. The objective of the Congress was to PROVIDE a long-term PEACE plan for Europe by settling critical issues arising from the French Revolutionary Wars and the Napoleonic Wars. The goal was not simply to restore old boundaries but to resize the main powers so they could balance each other and remain at peace. The leaders were conservatives with little use for republicanism or revolution, both of which threatened to upset the status quo in Europe. France lost all its recent conquests while Prussia, Austria and Russia made major territorial gains. Prussia added smaller German states in the west, Swedish Pomerania and 60% of the Kingdom of Saxony; Austria gained Venice and much of northern Italy. Russia gained parts of POLAND. The new Kingdom of the Netherlands had been created just months before, and included formerly Austrian territory that in 1830 became Belgium.

How germany came out of this financial crisis

Answer»

Owing to its strong dependence on exports, Germany was among the economies hit hardest by
the financial crisis. But unlike almost all other countries, Germany emerged from the crisis
quickly and stronger than before. What lies behind this success story, if at all it is one? The
commonplace—neoliberal—answer is that Germany’s success is the hard-won reward for strict
economic management, combining fiscal conservatism and structural reforms of welfare and the
labour market. The latter, by REDUCING labour costs, fostered competitiveness, boosted growth,
and increased employment. “PROGRESSIVE” economists arguing that Germany beggared its
EUROZONE neighbours by squeezing workers’ wages, share a similar view. However, this
particular explanation of Germany’s resilience is wrong and unhelpful. Germany’s export
success cannot be explained in terms of its (labour) COST competitiveness, but is caused by
strong non-price competitiveness. This, in turn, is due—much more than is normally
recognized—by the remaining distinctly non-neoliberal DIMENSIONS of Germany’s economic
model (including a Keynesian crisis response). German and European policymakers preaching
austerity and structural labor-market changes as the model for other Eurozone countries,
misunderstand Germany’s rebound from crisis, with serious costs to Eurozone populations.

Write a short note on conscious effort to abandoned untouchabilty

Answer»

The issue of UNTOUCHABILITY got attention mainly due to the efforts of Mahatma Gandhi. However, that was many years ago and sadly, even today the problem remains, though the seriousness of the issue has decreased manifold.

Due credit must be given to the government policies that have been FORMULATED as well as the ENFORCEMENT of the parts of the Constitution that make untouchability a legal offence. If anyone is found guilty of practicing untouchability, he can be punished by law. Government schemes have also TRIED to help the downtrodden community mix up well in the society. They have been offered reservation and quotas. Further, anyone marrying a partner from the reserved category gets cash benefits from the government. Awareness workshops are also conducted from time to time.

Despite all these efforts, there is a lot that can be done at the personal level. Any act of discrimination should be reported and condemned strongly.  A CONSCIOUS effort can be made to not discriminate them from other domestic helpers. One can participate in awareness workshops. The social media can be effectively used to spread the word.

In order to completely eradicate untouchability, individuals will have to work together with the government. Neither of the two can do the job on their own.
