Answer»

By 1700 BC, most of the cities were abandoned. HOWEVER, one can see the VARIOUS element of the Ancient Indus Valley Civilization in later CULTURES. Archaeological DATA indicates the persistence of the LATE Harappan culture till 1000-900 BC

please mark it as brainlist

10.

Why was the script of the Harappans considered to be enigmatic?

Answer»

Over the past century, archaeologists working in the Middle East have time and again excavated seals bearing what they call “Indus-style inscriptions”, complete with the script and the USUAL unicorn or bull. However, such Indus- or Harappan-style seals discovered “OVERSEAS”, so to speak, displayed a different shape as well as craftsmanship, being shaped either as circles or cylinders which were “rolled over wet clay rather than pressed upon it.” At times, such seals have also been discovered from WITHIN the defined boundaries of the Indus Valley Civilization – or, shall we say, Meluhha, as most modern scholars agree the contemporarily-named Indus Valley Civilization was called at the time of its existence – such as the “Gulf seal” discovered from Lothal, Gujarat. All of these discoveries give rise to many questions: did the people from the-then Dilmun and Magan Civilizations – as the civilizations from the modern-day Bahrain and Oman were respectively known – produce those seals indigenously? If so, did they understand the Meluhhan language? Or did the Meluhhans themselves make different seals for trade-items being sent to different places? In which case, too, the question REMAINS: could the people from neighbouring civilizations understand the script? If they could not, then why did the Meluhhans send them these seals? Or, if those civilizations produced them indigenously, why so? ANSWERS to these questions might hold the key to the decipherment of the Indus Script, by aiding archaeologists in the discovery of a bilingual text: the Rosetta Stone of the Indus Valley Civilization.

Why the government of Shri morarji desai could not last long

Answer»

I do not know much about him as according to me he never DESERVED to be the PM of such a great nation . He used to drink his own urine . I must as well remind you he was awarded Nishan e Pakistan which is ironical for any Indian meaning a traitor . He was very frustrated with Research and Analysis Wing and didn't heed the needs of that particular organisation and later unveiled its secrecy . Project 706 . Codename of a project to develop Pakistan's first atomic bomb using uranium . Morarji Desai informed Gen Zia ul HAQ via phone call that his GOVERNMENT is completely aware of Pakistan's activites regarding the neuclear project which resulted in killing of all the RA&W officers and India lost its every source of information .He closed down much of the agency, and reduced its budget and operations. He is the most incompetent Prime MINISTER . You can not achieve every success through diplomacy sometimes you need an Intelligence Beaurau to decode the intention of few friends and FOES .

15.

Why womens should not go in masjid????? plzzzzz give me ans

Answer»

Generally, women are ALLOWED to enter mosques. Indeed there are multiple hadith from the Prophet that advises men not to prohibit women from attending mosques, and that certain women LEARNED entire Surahs from the Qur'an from the Prophet's recitation. For example:

Note here that the narrator is "Umm Hisham bint Harithah" -- literally the mother of Hisham, the Daughter of Harithah -- clearly indicating she was female and prayed Fajr in the masjid.

However, in some cultures, particularly those from the sub-continent, they have prohibited women from attending mosques. This is much less of an issue in the Arab world. In Western countries, it depends on the dominant ethnicity of the masjid.

They do this based on some opinions in some of the traditional schools of thought (Mathahib) that made rulings for their particular time and place (perhaps out of safety). In particular, some scholars in the Hanafi madhab. For example, Sarakhsi (one of the major scholars in the Hanafi SCHOOL) in one of his books said "it is DISLIKED in our age". In his age, there was a fear that women might be attacked. Note, however, that this was in the 11th century, and that Sarakhsi was very specific about the APPLICABILITY of this.

How "seals" help urbanization mesopotamia class xi?

Answer»

Cylinder seals were a small, CARVED stone cylinder that was used to make an impression in wet clay. When rolled on the wet clay, the seal left an impression that could prove ownership or identity. These small—about an inch to an inch and a half long—seals are delicate WORKS of art, intricately carved with the TINY figures of gods, beasts and men, usually relating a myth, a banquet or an heroic deed.

For 3,000 YEARS cylinder seals were used all over Mesopotamia and wherever Mesopotamian influence was felt. Most were made of stone, whether limestone or semi-precious stones such as carnelian or lapis lazuli. Some were made of copper, bronze, GOLD, ivory or bone.
