Write a diary entry describing your feelings of meeting an old friend of yours after 1 year

Answer»

Answer:

Dear Diary

You will not believe what I am going to tell you today. I happened to go to the mall yesterday and was suddenly reminded of my friend Shylaja with whom I used to frequent the mall. I was thinking how it has been FOUR years since I saw her. Just then, I heard someone calling out Anju just like how she used to call me. At first, I thought I was imagining. But, I heard the call a second time and turned back. There was no known face around. I turned back to continue my shopping. Suddenly, I felt someone pat me from behind. I turned back and could not believe my eyes. My dear friend Shylaja was standing right in FRONT of me.

For a minute, I just could not react! Then, suddenly I hugged her tight and asked her when she reached Coimbatore. She said that she had LANDED last night and had come to the mall to buy something for her cousin’s kid’s birthday party tomorrow evening. I asked her what her plans for the day were and she said she was free the whole day. So, we decided to spend the whole day together. We did a whole LOT of shopping and even bought identical salwars. Then, we went to the food court and had our lunch. From there, we moved on to watch the latest movie of our favorite film star. I requested her to stay the night with me and she readily agreed. So, we went to her house and she PACKED a pair of outfits to change into that night and for the next morning. We came over to my place and since I was staying alone, we cooked our dinner and stayed up late night chatting. Finally, she left today around 10:00 am after breakfast. I was so happy and have never been so in the past couple

(a) Write a descriptive paragraph in about 150.000 words to describe an old tree near your houseto your description, yousayRemember to include a tople sentence, supporting details & a concluding sentence in the paragraph)

Answer»

Answer:

here is your answer

Explanation:

A tree is a TALL plant with a trunk and branches made of wood. Trees can live for many years. The oldest tree EVER discovered is approximately 5,000 years old and the oldest tree from the UK is about 1,000. The four main parts of a tree are the roots, the trunk, the branches, and the leaves.

The roots of a tree are usually under the GROUND. However, this is not always true. The roots of the mangrove tree are often under water. A single tree has many roots. The roots carry nutrients and water from the ground through the trunk and branches to the leaves of the tree. They can also breathe in air. Sometimes, roots are specialized into aerial roots, which can also provide support, as is the case with the banyan tree.

The trunk is the main body of the tree. The trunk is covered with bark which protects it from damage. Branches grow from the trunk. They spread out so that the leaves can get more sunlight.

The leaves of a tree are green most of the time, but they can come in many colors, shapes and sizes. The leaves take in sunlight and use water and food from the roots to make the tree grow, and to reproduce.

Trees and shrubs take in water and carbon dioxide and give out oxygen with sunlight to form sugars. This is the OPPOSITE of what animals do in respiration. Plants also do some respiration using oxygen the way animals do. They need oxygen as well as carbon dioxide to live. Trees are renewable RESOURCES because, if cut down, other trees can grow in their place.

hope it helps you

Answer»

Answer:

PTI journalists across INDIA shared experiences and conversations with their CHILDREN aged 2 to 13, which ranged from cute to poignant and heart-wrenching to humorous, and some with sagacity far beyond their age.

Here are some of the experiences from around the country:

Niheer Waghmare, all of 2 years 4 months, is a diehard fan of his father Aditya’s Royal Enfield motorcycle. A short ride around Aurangabad is mandatory EVERY day. When the lockdown started, this practice stopped. Now the bike engine is started every morning for him to sit on its petrol tank and drink his milk.

His mother told him, “There is a threat called corona on roads outside. It will attack and injure us.” He understood it’s something dangerous.

He said, ‘once corona ends, I will go to the hills’. “For now, I show the hills to him from the roof of my house,” said Ms. Waghmare.

What has made book-reading on outdated activity-television or Net, or both?

Answer»

We THINK it’s because so many young people are influenced to READ dreadfully disinteresting and only approved works for learning and testing, not for literary entertainment or for satisfying the natural development of one’s passions and curiosities.

In other words (no pun INTENDED), it’s an activity associated with instruction. Unless you’re motivated to select books of your own interest, you may never habitually read from a personal perspective.

Moreover, many say they do not have time to read books, or will WAIT until they go on vacation, or retire. Imagine how much is missed. Good authors share their rich thoughts and experiences through associated words, mental images, and far-reaching concepts applicable over a lifetime. Why would you not want this endlessly consequential information right now?

If you can answer affirmatively, it’s faulty logic to BLAME television, movies, the Internet, or time utilized for unexpressive projects, like cleaning out your closet. The only obstacle is you.

Why did driver didn't go back home

Answer»

The last time Mary Jayaseelan spoke to her husband Rajesh, he was about to be hooked up to a ventilator in a Covid ward.

Rajesh was being treated in Northwick Park Hospital in London, the city where he worked as an Uber driver for most of the year. Mary was 5,000 miles away in their family home in Bangalore, India, with their two young sons. Until that POINT he had repeatedly told her he would be fine, that he was feeling ill but she was not to worry, he'd get better - at 44 years old, he was young and otherwise healthy.

But on that call, he broke down and admitted: "Mary, I'm feeling a bit scared."

Rajesh Jayaseelan died the following day.

Short presentational grey line

Rajesh and Mary got married on 24 February 2014, and RENTED a home in Hulimavu, SOUTH Bangalore, that they shared with his 66-year-old mum. For most of the year, Rajesh rented a room in Harrow, north London and drove an Uber vehicle in the city. He'd work from late in the evening to the early hours of the morning - the busy hours - so he could save enough money to spend a few months with his family in India.

He enjoyed working as a driver, although he didn't realise that his precarious gig economy job would leave him vulnerable in the global health crisis that would later EMERGE.

"He'd been living in London on-and-off for 22 years, and would come back to India for a few months at a time," Mary says. "He loved London. He always used to talk to me about how beautiful London was, and so clean. I've never been to London, so he would describe it to me."

They were very happy. Rajesh loved his wife, and playing with their two sons, aged six and four. When he wasn't in India he would video-call them every day.

"He was also a really good singer," Mary says, full of pride. "He sang a lot of Hindi songs."

He was also a "humble, gentle person" his close friend Sunil Kumar adds. Sunil and Rajesh first met in 2011 - they were both from Bangalore, so mutual friends there put them in touch when Sunil moved to the UK. They would help each other navigate the UK's various bureaucratic systems, loaned each other small amounts of money when needed, and Sunil and his wife would have Rajesh over for meals at their home in Hertfordshire - sending him back with several days' worth of leftovers of delicious South Indian food.
