Which among iron cobalt nickel and manganese forms octahedral conolex?

Answer»

he LENS addition formula adds the RECIPROCAL of the COMPONENT focal lengths , the resulting focal length will be 1/2 the original focal length. Here’s the BREAK down: 1/f = 1/f1 + 1/f2. where f1 = f2.1/f = 1/f1 + 1/f1 = 2/f1, so f = f1/2.Similarly, if three lenses were PLACED in contact, then the combined focal length would be 1/3 of a single lensI hope this will help youIf not then comment me

Why magnetic moment of brown ring compound is less than expected during the test of nitrate ion

Answer»

standard BROWN ring test for the NITRATE ion, the brown ring complex is:[Fe(H2O)5(NO)]2+In this compound, the nitrosyl ligand is positively charged, and iron is in a +1 oxidation state. Now, iron has stable oxidation states +2 and +3. Nitrosyl, as a ligand, comes in many flavours, of which a negatively charged nitrosyl is one.I see no reason why the iron doesn't SPONTANEOUSLY oxidise to +3 and reduce the NO to −1 to gain stability. But I don't know how to analyse this situation anyway. I think that there may be some NIFTY backbonding increasing the stability, but I'm not sure. So, why is iron in +1 here when we can have a SEEMINGLY stable situation with iron in +3?I hope this will help youIf not then comment me

Effect of sucrose on water potential biology discussion

Answer»

ng to principles of thermodynamics, every components of system is having definite amount of FREE energy which is measure of potential work which the system can do. WATER Potential is the difference in the free energy or chemical potential per unit molar volume of water in system and that of pure water at the same temperature and pressure. It is represented by Greek LETTER or the value of is measured in bars, pascals or atmospheres. Water always moves from the area of high water potential to the area of low water potential. Water potential of pure water at normal temperature and pressure is zero. This value is considered to be the highest. The PRESENCE of solid particles reduces the free energy of water and decreases the water potential. Therefore, water potential of a solution is always less than zero or it has negative value.I hope this will help youIf not then comment me

Dent energy of an ideal gas increases when it expand

Answer»

xpands when the constituent molecules have more ENERGY to move around and be free from the grip of other molecules. But in ORDER to escape the MOLECULAR BONDS and be free, the molecules must have a lot of Kinetic energy. The Kinetic energy of the molecules increases with an increase in temperature. So, when the temperature increases, the constituent molecules have more Kinetic energy, and consequently, the volume of the GAS increases (i.e., the gas expands). So, when a gas expands, it’s temperature must be higher than the energy required for the molecules to break free from the molecular bonds. And, this sentence explains why at the same temperature, different gases have different rates of expansion.I hope this will help youIf not then comment me

Synthesis and properties of fe3o4/polyaniline nanomaterial and its ability of removing arsenic in wastewater

Answer»

thesis of Fe3O4/polyaniline (Fe3O4/PANI) nanomaterials by a CHEMICAL method is presented in this PAPER. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) shows that the lattice constant a = 8.376 A0 and the particle size of is about 14.5 nm for all samples, since polymer cannot in uence the crystal structure of Fe3O4. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images show that the Fe3O4 grain sizes vary from 13 nm to 20 nm. The results of Raman spectral analysis and thermal gravimetric analysis reveal that the PANI partly forms in the Fe3O4/PANI nanomaterials samples. Thus, the grain size of Fe3O4/PANI nanomaterials is about of 25–30 nm, which has been CON rmed by a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The saturated magnetic moment of Fe3O4/PANI samples is decreased from 66 emu/g to 39.7 emu/g with PANI content varying from 5% to 15%. However, Fe3O4/PANI nanomaterials are stable on chemical-physical properties and lead to improve an arsenic adsorption ability. In addition, Fe3O4/PANI sample with PANI 5% content has the highest arsenic adsorption ability in pH 7. In strong acidic or basic MEDIA, the arsenic adsorption of magnetic nanoparticles is insigni cant. The results suggest the desorb can be conducted at pH 14 then the materials could REABSORB in further trialsI hope this will help youIf not then comment me

rows that are generally placed underneath the main Periodic Table are called the lanthanide SERIES and the ACTINIDE series. These two rows are produced when electrons are being added to f orbitals. THEREFORE, this BLOCK of ELEMENTS are referred to as the "f block".

48.

Atoms of different elements with the same number of occupied shells are placed in the same period

Answer»

oms collide and react, it is the outer ELECTRONS that meet and interact. So, elements in the same GROUP have similar chemical properties because they have the same number of electrons in their outer shellThus the subshell has three orbitals. The second shell has 2 subshells: the subshell, which has 1 orbital with 2 electrons, and the subshell, which has 3 orbitals with 6 electrons, for a TOTAL of 4 orbitals and 8 electrons
