Answer»

It is very SIMPLE. human are developed and animals arent. humans are MUCH advanced than animals. if you are asked to do any work, you will do it PROPERLY but when animals are TOLD to do any work then only the trained animals would perform it hardly. if you tell a WILD animal not to eat flesh then ot will eat you

What is the difference between organisms on the basis of coelom give example of each?

Answer»

A coelom is a fluid-filled BODY cavity that is completely LINED by TISSUE created from the mesoderm, the MIDDLE LAYER of the primary cells found in an embryo. It is typically found in multicellular organisms, which are living things that have more than one cell.

Describe the various steps involved in getting clarified water from wastewater

Answer»

Answer: The following steps are involved in clarifying wastewater:

●Insoluble waste is removed by filtration and sedimentation processes.
BACTERIA are allowed to grow through the process of aeration.
● Bacteria eat away HUMAN waste from the wastewater.
●Chlorination is used to kill the germs in clarified water.
●After this step, the water BECOMES fit EVEN for human consumption.

13.

Difference between the mitosis and meiosis

Answer»

MITOSIS:

prophase:
homologous chromosomes do not undergo pairing chromosomes are not seen crossing over and formation of the chiasmata are absent

metaphase:
all the chromosomes form a SINGLE group and occupy the equator with the centromeres aligning along the same LINE the centre of mass of homologous chromosomes are connected to both the poles of the spindle

anaphase:
centromeres divide the CHROMATIC became daughter chromosomes the combination of gene in the chromosomes are altered

telophase:
both the members of the homologous chromosomes are present together in the daughter cells

occurence :
usually occur in the somatic cells

functions:
help in the growth and the repair maintenance of the nuclear cytoplasmic ratio a sexual reproduction and vegetative propagation can occur through Mitosis

daughter cells:
produce identical diploid daughter cells

MEIOSIS:

prophase:
how is chromosomes undergo paining forming bivalent chromosomes are seen crossing over and formation of Chiasmata occur

metaphase:
the chromosomes form to groups 1 on either side of the equator in metaphase the centre of mass of the two members of each homologous pair face opposite poles of the spindle and are at equal distance from the equator they are connected to only one pole of spindle

anaphase:
the Saint Thomas do not divide during anaphase 1 the sister chromatids remain together in anaphase to centromeres divide and chromatid become daughter chromosomes due to crossing over there will be the combination of genes

telophase :
the maternal ,paternal chromosomes of the homologous pair are not present together in the daughter cell only one of them is present

occurance:
usually seen in germ cells producing gametes

functions:
helps in the formation of gametes with genetic variations due to crossing over and random ASSORTMENT of maternal and paternal chromosome involved in sexual reproduction

daughter cells:
produces four haploid cells from a diploid cell which differ from each other genetically (recombination of genes )

17.

What are the functions of DNA and RNA?

Answer»

DNA and RNA are type of polynucleotides PRESENT in all living things. Unlike RNA which is single stranded CHAIN, DNA is double helix STRUCTURE. Chemically, DNA CONSIST of deoxyribose sugar in its backbone where as RNA is made up of ribose sugar. Similarly, Thymine nucleobase which is present in DNA is replaced by uracil incase of RNA. DNA is considered to carry all the hereditary information and is transcribed into RNA which then codes for protein (the process known as translation). Transcription of DNA to RNA and translation of RNA to protein is CALLED central dogma of life.

21.

How does phototropism occur in plants?

Answer»

Hey mate..
here is ur answer..

Phototropism is the growth of an organism which responds to a light stimulus. It is most often observed in plants, but can also occur in other organisms such as fungi. The cells on the plant that are FARTHEST from the light have a chemical CALLED auxin that reacts when phototropism occurs. This causes the plant to have elongated cells on the farthest SIDE from the light.

45.

How do leaves of mosses differ from those of angiosperms?

Answer»

Bryophytes are non-vascular plants while angiosperms are vascular plants.

The plant bodies are thalloid in bryophytes while the plant bodies in angiosperms are differentiated into TRUE roots, stems and leaves.

In bryophytes sporophytic phase is dependent on the GAMETOPHYTIC phase while in angiosperms sporophytic phase is independent.

Bryophytes usually REPRODUCES through SPORES while angiosperms reproduces through seeds.

In bryophytes male gamtes are motile while in angiosperms the male gametes are immotile.

Bryophytes have sporic meiosis while angiosperms have gametic meiosis.

Explain the construction working of gas production process utility of biogas production plant

Answer»

Biogas refers to a mixture of different gasesproduced by the breakdown of organic matterin the absence of oxygen. Biogas can be produced from raw materials such asagricultural waste, manure, municipal waste, plant material, sewage, green waste or food waste. Biogas is a renewable energy source.

Biogas is produced by anaerobic digestionwith methanogen or anaerobic organisms, which digest material inside a closed system, or fermentation of biodegradable materials.[1]This closed system is called an anaerobic DIGESTER, biodigester or a bioreactor.[2]

Biogas is primarily methane (CH
4) and CARBON dioxide (CO2) and may have small amounts ofhydrogen sulphide (H
2S), moisture andsiloxanes. The gases methane, hydrogen, andcarbon monoxide (CO) can be combusted or oxidized with oxygen. This energy release allows biogas to be used as a fuel; it can be used for any heating purpose, such as cooking. It can also be used in a gas engine to convert the energy in the gas into electricity and heat.[3]

Biogas can be compressed, the same way asnatural gas is compressed to CNG, and used to power motor vehicles. In the United KINGDOM, for example, biogas is estimated to have the potential to replace around 17% of vehicle fuel.[4] It qualifies for renewableenergy subsidies in some parts of the world. Biogas can be cleaned and upgraded to natural gas standards, when it becomes bio-methane. Biogas is considered to be a renewable resource because its production-and-use cycle is continuous, and it generates no net carbon dioxide. As the organic material grows, it is converted and used. It then regrows in a continually repeating cycle. From a carbon perspective, as MUCH carbon dioxide is absorbed from the atmosphere in the growth of the primary bio-resource as is released, when the material is ultimately converted to energy.

we cannot pass on to our progency the experiences and qualifications earned during our lifetime justify the statement giving reason and example

Answer»

It is because these are acquired during our lifetime. These do not cause variations in the sex cells but cause variation in the somatic cells. So they cannot be passed on to the next generation.
For eg if a person WANTS to become an accountant it is not necessary that the next generation will ALSO SHARE the INTEREST and would want to become an accountant.
