Explain workinh of heart????

Answer»

\underline{\underline{\textbf{Working of Human Heart :}}}

→ First of all, all the deoxygenated blood from the body with the HELP of superior and inferior vena cava came in heart.

→ After it, it came in Right atrium and then Right ventricle.

→ Contraction of auricles derives most of the blood in into the ventricle. At the END of the auricular systole, auricles start relaxing and the contraction of the ventricles simultaneously.

→ As the contraction of the ventricles begins, the pressure of the blood in the auricles rises. With this pressure, the flaps of the auricular ventricular (A-V) valves are PUSHES up and meet to close the A-V apertures. This tight CLOSURE of the A-V valves at the start of the ventricular contraction produces the first heart beat, which is "Lub".

→ Now the ventricles start relaxing. The semilunar VALVE close as they get filled the blood trying to return and meet together, closing the outlets of the great arteries.

→ The closing of the semilunar valves at the start of diastole produces the second heart sound "Dup".

When is pressure potential positive?

Answer»

ong>Answer:

hope it helps you

Explanation:

In turgid plant cells it usually has a positive VALUE as the entry of WATER causes the protoplast to push against the CELL wall (see turgor). In xylem cells there is a negative PRESSURE potential, or tension, as a result of transpiration. Water at atmospheric pressure has a pressure potential of zero.

21.

Does double fertilization occurs in Bryophytes if not why?

Answer»

ong>Answer:

Angiosperms have a UNIQUE phenomenon of "Double Fertilisation" in which, after the release of two male gametes inside the embro sac by the POLLEN tube, one male gamete i.e. the first male gamete which is too near to egg fuses with egg nucleus and this phenomenon is known as fertilisation or syngamy. During syngamy, ZYGOTE is formed.

The other male gamete i.e. the second male gamete migrates towards the secondary nucleus (formed from fusion of two polar nuclei) and fuses with it. This phenomenon is known as triple fusion and results in the formation of a triploid primary endosperm mother cell.

From all the options given in the question, Pinus is a gymnosperm , Selaginella is a pteridophyte and Funaria is a bryophyte, so double fertilisation is not PRESENT in these plants as double fertilisation is unique to Angiosperms.

Since, DALBERGIA/ Capsella are Angiosperms, double fertilisation will occur in them.

"Unequal access to basic services is responsible for various criminal activities in South Afrika ".critically discuss this statement

Answer»

ong>Answer:

Unequal access to basic services is an INDICATOR of the underlying problem. South Africa has vast wealth inequality. After 1994, the hope was that this would change. However, the only thing that has changed is the colour of the oppressor. There are now as many wealthy black PEOPLE as there are white. This, on the face of it, appears to be a good thing. The reality though is not so good. The wealthy black population is not a result of economic growth, but rather, these people have simply replaced the millions of white South Africans who emigrated to other shores.

The reason that people living in areas with very poor access to basic services are responsible for most crime, is because these are the poorest areas. And before you judge them, I would like you to take a moment to consider how you would respond. If you were to get dressed, have nothing in your pockets, (no money, no phone… nothing) and leave your home now, leaving your life BEHIND, how long do you THINK it would take you to become a criminal? Seriously? No shelter, no food and most importantly, no prospects.

It is possible for people in areas with little access to basic services to live crime-free lives if they have the ability to feed themselves, shelter from the elements, and have hope, in the form of a job. These people will very OFTEN begin to install basic services themselves.

The right to a job is as fundamental as the right to anything else.

Governments are entrusted to look after the citizens of the country they govern. Unfortunately, all over the world, you see vast inequality. Some areas are simply utopian in their beauty and functionality, while in other areas, people scrabble in the dirt for food to feed their families. It is not the area that is at fault, it is the government that allows such vast inequality of MEANS!

Hope it helps!

how does blood pressure increases or decreases by the lncrease or decrease of the lining of the vessel walls?

Answer»

ong>Answer:

hope it's help u plzz mark me BRAINLIST ❣️❤️ pls thanks my ans...

Explanation:

Blood flow refers to the movement of blood through a vessel, tissue, or organ, and is usually expressed in TERMS of volume of blood per unit of time. It is initiated by the contraction of the VENTRICLES of the HEART. Ventricular contraction ejects blood into the major arteries, resulting in flow from regions of HIGHER pressure to regions of lower pressure, as blood encounters smaller arteries and arterioles, then capillaries, then the venules and veins of the venous system. This section discusses a number of critical variables that contribute to blood flow throughout the body. It also discusses the factors that impede or slow blood flow, a phenomenon known as resistance
