Principal of motor |
Answer» Electric Motor\xa0operates on direct current obtained from a battery.\xa0Principle: An electric motor works on the principle that a current carrying conductor placed in a magnetic field experiences a force.\xa0\xa0\xa0Fig.\xa0An electric d.c.\xa0motorConstruction:\xa0An electric motor consists of the following main parts:1. Field magnet: It is a strong horse shoe type magnet with concave poles.2. Armature: It is a rectangular coil ABCD having a large number of turns of thin insulated copper wire wound over a soft iron core.\xa0The armature is placed between the poles of the field magnet and it can be rotated about an axis perpendicular to the magnetic field lines.\xa03. Split ring commutator: It consists of a cylindrical metal ring split into two halves S1and S2. The two ends A and D of the armature coil are connected to the split rings S1\xa0and S2\xa0respectively. As the coil rotates, the split rings also rotate about the same axis of rotation. The function of the split ring commutator is to reverse the direction of current in the coil after every half rotation.4. Brushes: Two graphite or flexible metal rods maintain a sliding contact with split rings S1\xa0and S2, alternately.5. Battery: A battery of few cells is connected to the brushes. The current from the battery flows to the armature coil through the brushes and the split rings.Working: Initially, suppose the plane of the coil is horizontal. The split ring S1\xa0touches the brush B1\xa0and split ring S2\xa0touches the brush B2. The current in coil flows in the direction ABCD from the source battery, as shown in Fig.(a).Clearly, the currents in arms AB and CD are in opposite directions. The force acting on arm AB pushes it downwards while the force acting on the arm CD pushes it upwards. Thus the armature coil alongwith the axle rotates anticlockwise. After half a rotation, as shown in Fig.(b), the\xa0split ring\xa0comes in contact with brush B2, and S2\xa0in contact with brush B1. Therefore, the current in the coil gets reversed and flows along the path DCBA. A device that reverses the direction of flow of current through a circuit is called commutator. Thus the arm AB is now pushed up and the arm CD is pushed down. Therefore, the coil and the axle rotate half a turn more in the same direction. The reversing of the current is repeated at each half rotation, giving rise to a continuous rotation of the coil and to the axle.Split ring acts as commutator in electric motors. Whenever a electrically charged body is placed in magnetic field , it experiences a force result in rotating of motor |

Why ray passing through centre of curavture is reflected back in same direction? |
Answer» Ur welcome Thankya was searching desperately for the answer The ray of light passes through centre of curvature it strikes the mirror along with normal at 90 degrees. Incidence rays coicides with normal. Therefore angle of incidence is zero. As we know angle of reflection is 0. So the rays reflect back Reason? Yes it passes in same direction |

Budding in yeast?? |
Answer» Most yeasts reproduce asexually by an asymmetric division process called budding. First it produces a small protuberance on the parent cell that grows to a full size and forms a bud. The nucleus of the parent cell splits into a daughter nucleus and migrates into the daughter cell. What do u want Its a practical ques |

What is electro lysis?? |
Answer» You may find this helpful:Electrolysis is the process by which ionic substances are decomposed into simpler substances when an\xa0electric current\xa0is passed through them.Electrolysis Process:\tIonic compounds contain charged particles called ions. For example, Sodium Chloride contains positively charged Sodium ions and negatively charged Chlorine ions.\tThe ions must be free to move in order to start the electrolysis process. When an ionic substance is dissolved in water or melted then the ions are free to move. During electrolysis, positively charged ions move to the negative electrode and negatively charged ions move to the positive electrode. Then positively charged ions receive electrons and negatively charged ions lose electrons. Both the products of the dissociation get collected at the electrodes.\tFor instance, if electricity is passed through molten sodium chloride, the sodium chloride is broken into sodium and chlorine and they collect at their respective electrodes. The metals get precipitated and the gases escape. This ability to break down substance with current is used in many ways.\tElectrolysis is widely used for Electroplating. kisi subatance ko electricity ke dawara break karna ko electrolysis kethe hai Sorry sir plz discuss in hindi sorry vedant but I want to say that he is not "bhai"....he is teacher The chemical decomposition of an electrolyte by the passage of electricity through it is called electrolysis. |

Mineral?Ore?Electrolysis? |
Answer» Metals found in a combined state in the earth\'s crust are known as minerals. Only those minerals that have a relatively high concentration of metal and can be extracted in an easy and cost-effective process are called ores. The chemical decomposition of an electrolyte by the passage of electricity through it is called electrolysis. The natural substances (elements or compounds) in which metals and their compounds occur either in native state or combined state are called\xa0minerals. |

Answer» But we can be friends only because I am already in relationship with someone Oh srry fr using sis ... Plz maaf krdo meko yaar ..i am ur friend I know ur reason sis. So ye srry word dosti mein use mt kriye plz.. rose Water of crystallization is the fixed number of water molecules present in one formula unit of a salt. Or we can say water stoichiometrically bound into crystal. For example, chemical formula of hydrated copper sulphate is CuSO4\xa0· 5H2O. Copper sulphate has 5 molecules of water of crystallisation. Sodium carbonate (Na2CO3\xa0· 10H2O) contains ten molecules of water of crystallisation. But i don\'t know why u say sorry to me . |
