Write all isomers of butane? |
| Answer» According to IUPAC nomenclature, these isomers are called simply butane and 2-methylpropane. Notice that isobutane has a propane parent chain with a methyl group - CH3 attached to the second carbon of the chain - that is why its IUPAC name is 2-methylpropane. | |

What is homologous serious |
|
Answer» Amar he had only asked what is homologous series and you had given such a long answer. You can simplify it also. The name homologous series is used for any collection of compounds that have similar structures or include the same functional group, such as the general alkanes (straight and branched), the alkenes (olefins), the carbohydrates, etc.Homologous series is a series of compounds with the same general formula, usually varying by a single parameter. This can be the length of a carbon chain, for example in the straight-chained alkanes (paraffins), or it could be the number of monomers in a homopolymer such as amylose .The homologous series of straight-chained alkanes begins methane (CH4), ethane (C2H6), propane (C3H8), butane (C4H10), and pentane (C5H12). In that series, successive members differ in mass by an extra methylene bridge (-CH2- unit) inserted in the chain. Thus the molecular mass of each member differs by 14 atomic mass units. Homologous series is a series of compounds with similar chemical properties. |

Define homologous and analogous organs...???? |
| Answer» Analogous organs are the opposite of homologous organs, which have similar functions but different origins. An example of an analogous trait would be the wings of insects, bats and birds that evolved independently in each lineage separately after diverging from an ancestor without wings. | |

what is fullerite or C540 |
| Answer» Fullerite is the solid-state manifestation of fullerene molecules and can be found naturally occurring within interstellar gas clouds. Fullerites are coveted for the unique structural properties that make them some of the most useful materials known to humankind.Fullerene-based technology has applications in electronics, propulsion and engineering as well as the construction of ultra-hard metal alloys and heat-resistant weapons systems. | |

Why bee can see ultraviolet ray |
| Answer» Bees have two different types of eyes-each with separate functions. The three smaller eyes in the center-top of a bee’s head are called ocelli. Ocelli comes from the Latin word “ocellus” which means little eye. These little bee eyes have single lenses and help the bee maintain stability and navigate. They enable the bee to judge light intensity and stay oriented. Using these ocelli, bees can gather light and see ultra-violet light, helping them to detect UV flower colors. | |

why stars twinkle but not planat? |
|
Answer» Stars are very far away from earth. Stars twinkle due to the atmospheric reflection but Planet do not twinkle because it is much closer to the earth and it nullifies the tyndal effect Stars twinkle because they appear as tiny pinpoints as seen from Earth, even through telescopes. Planets don\'t twinkle because they are closer, and thus appear larger in our sky, as tiny disks instead of pinpoints |

Difference between circular loop and solenoid? |
|
Answer» A solenoid is a long coil containing a large number of close turns of insulated copper wire. Its shape is somewhat like a spiral loop of wire. It may be regarded as a circular coil with very large number of turns. So, we can consider a solenoid up of elementary circular coils. The difference is in their lengths. Solenoid has a longer length compared to its diameter. Also, the distance between its two loops is longer. While a coil has a bigger diameter and the distance between two loops in a coil is shorter compared to its diameter. Thus, we can say that a solenoid looks like a spring at its original or slightly elongated length and a coil as the same compressed spring. Curcular loop kisi wire ka ek loop banaya jaat h isme like copper wire ja loop jisme battery cinnect jr di jaati hai than when currnt pass act like a magnet while solenoid me cipper wire ko kisi like iron ore je chari aur laga diya jaata acts like bar magnt |
