On which basis chemical equation is balanced

Answer» A Chemical equation is always balanced on comparison of number of atoms of each element on both sides of the reaction. During the balancing of chemical equation it is need to be followed that “ it has to follow law of conservation of mass (mass on reactants side should be equal to mass on the products side)”. Ex: H2 + O2 → H2O In the above equation when Hydrogen atoms were compared on both sides of the reaction both are equal and when Oxygen atoms were compared they are not equal. So in this equation Oxygen atoms were not balanced on both sides of the reaction. And balancing of equation is required. H2 + O2 → 2H2O Similarly now Hydrogen were not balanced. So it requires balancing. 2H2 + O2 → 2H2O Now comparing both Hydrogen and Oxygen on both sides then, found equal. So it is a balanced equation.

1. This irrationality proof for the square root of 5 uses Fermat\'s method of infinite descent: Suppose that √5 is rational, and express it in lowest possible terms (i.e., as a fully reduced fraction) as mn for natural numbers m and n. Then √5 can be expressed in lower terms as 5n − 2mm − 2n, which is a contradiction.

Which guide book is better ?? S. Chand or Fullmarks??

Answer» Oh thanks?
Rather than HC Verma or S Chand, your issue is finding a good way to study physics.Well, if you directly move to either of the books after class 10, you\'re most probably against a huge challenge, and probably screwed. Like I was, barely scraped passing marks in 12 boards and the entrance exams became a joke, not unlike 10 lakh students who get ranks lower than some 30,000–40,000 in the AIEEE. However, I dropped a year and did figure out a good way to study, and got almost full marks in my AIEEE exam in Physics. So here\'s a laydown on the skills that I learnt, and the books-1. Functions : Ncert math textbooks, class 10, 11,12. Linear equations- learn to make a graph and solve for slope. Then,, understand basic trigonometric functions and their graphs like sin, cos and tan. Then understand graphs of quadratic equations, parabola and circles. You are ready to move on. Just the very basics are required, will not take more than a week.2. Calculus: This is how the entire game is played. Look at any chapter in your physics textbook starting from laws of motion, you\'ll see differentiation and integration everywhere. This is THE MOST ESSENTIAL skill you HAVE TO LEARN before you move to physics. This is a really good book - The manga guide to calculus. Perfect for students who have never even seen calculus before class 11.I would not recommend looking for any free versions easily available online ;). Amazon sells this for around 250 bucks. Will probably take around a week to s

What are transition elements? Write there general electionic configuration

Answer» The‘d’ block elements are called as transition elements. In the transition elements the ultimate (n shell) and penultimate (n-1 shell) shells of atoms are incompletely filled with electrons. The differentiating electron enters the‘d’ orbitals of the penultimate shell.Hence, the general electronic configuration of transition elements is\xa0(n-1) d1-10ns1-2
