A car is moving with speed u, comes to rest due to retardation of brake and Distance travel by car is 10 meter. If same car travels with speed 2u instead of u then find distance travel by car before coming to rest will be. (in both case retardation is same) |
|
Answer» By Newton's THIRD law of motionv 2 −u 2 =2ashere acceleration a is negative since it is retardation, DISPLACEMENT s is the stopping distance d, u is the INITIAL velocity and v is the final velocity.Since the objects tops after the motion, v=0thus−u 2 =−2add= 2au Let take d 1 as the distance traveled by the car with velocity u and d 2 as the distance traveled by the car with velocity 4u.The retardation for both the car is −ad 2 d 1 = 2au 2 (4u) 2 2a d 2 d 1 = 161 |

|
Answer» r ✨KINETIC Energy is the energy an object has OWING to its MOTION. For example, if a an object with a mass of 10 kg (m = 10 kg) is moving at a velocity of 5 METERS per second (v = 5 m/s), the kinetic energy is equal to 125 Joules, or (1/2 * 10 kg) * 5 m/s2.Give me some MULTIPLE thanks please |

Answer» Distance(u) = 10 CM. (negative)Focal length of the LENS (f) = 5 cm.We know, convex mirror always forms the virtual, upright and diminished.Also, Object distance in the convex mirror is always negative where as Image distance and focal length are positive.Now, Applying the Mirror's FORMULA,f1 = v1 + u1 = 51 = v1 + 1 = 51 = 10v(10−v) 10v=50−5v15v=50v= 310 so the image distance (v) =3.33cm.===============================Answer By shreyas |

|
Answer» mark as brainiliestExplanation:1. A food secure country can PRODUCE, store or import the food it needs and distribute it equitably. Food insecure countries typically have either large numbers of very poor people, or very low average food consumption levels, or large fluctuations in food supplies coupled with low consumption levels. No single recipe will ensure food security for all INDIVIDUALS, households or nations. The basic ingredients, illustrated here, are well-known, although their quality and availability vary greatly from region to region. Making people's nutritional wellbeing the focus of national and international development policies -and using it as a measure of their success - would be a major step in creating a well-fed world.2.Photosynthesis is the process by which PLANTS use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to create oxygen and energy in the form of sugar.3. photosynthesis4. Chlorophyll is a pigment that gives plants their green COLOR, and it helps plants create their own food through photosynthesis.5. from the air |

Answer» The role of atmospheric pressure in filling of a SYRINGE is very important. 5. Mohit is observing his image in a plane mirror. The distance between the mirror and his image is 5 metre. If he moves 1 m towards the mirror, then what would be the distance between Mohit and his image? |
| Answer» OVE ExplanationThe distance between Mohit and the mirror is equal to the distance between the mirror and his image. When he moves 1 m TOWARDS the mirror, he is at a distance of 3m (4M - 1M) from the mirror. Thus, the distance between David and his image will be = 3m + 3m = 6m | |

Mention the difference between Laplace theory and Newton’s theory. |
|
Answer» In order to determine the speed of sound in a particular medium, we NEED to KNOW the medium’s elastic properties and its density. A medium’s elastic properties determine whether or not the medium will deform or lose its shape due to external forces. Sound travels faster in mediums with HIGH elasticity and MINIMAL deformity – like steel. Sound travels more slowly in less RIGID mediums that deform easily – like rubber. Sound travels more slowly in mediums with greater density.Sir Isaac Newton proposed a simple formula for calculating the speed of sound. Years later Pierre-Simon Laplace would revise Newton’s formula and the new formula would be called the Newton-Laplace Equation |

Answer» The National Curriculum Framework (NCF), 2005 recommends that children’s life at school must be linked to their life outside the school. This principle marks a departure from the legacy of bookish learning which continues to shape our SYSTEM and causes a gap between the school, home and community. The syllabi and textbooks developed on the basis of NCF signify an attempt to implement this basic idea. They also attempt to discourage rote learning and the maintenance of sharp boundaries between different subject areas. We hope these measures will take us significantly further in the direction of a child-centred system of education outlined in the National Policy on Education (1986). The success of this effort depends on the steps that school principals and teachers will take to encourage children to reflect on their own learning and to pursue imaginative activities and questions. We must recognise that, given space, time and freedom, children generate new knowledge by engaging with the information passed on to them by adults. Treating the prescribed TEXTBOOK as the sole basis of examination is one of the key reasons why other resources and sites of learning are ignored. Inculcating creativity and initiative is possible if we perceive and treat children as participants in learning, not as receivers of a fixed body of knowledge. These aims imply considerable change in school routines and mode of functioning. Flexibility in the daily time-table is as necessary as rigour in implementing the annual calender so that the required number of teaching days are actually devoted to teaching. The methods used for teaching and evaluation will also determine how effective this textbook proves for making children’s life at school a happy experience, rather than a source of stress or boredom. Syllabus designers have tried to address the problem of curricular burden by restructuring and reorienting knowledge at different stages with greater consideration for child psychology and the time available for teaching. The textbook attempts to enhance this endeavour by giving higher priority and space to opportunities for contemplation and wondering, discussion in small groups, and activities requiring hands-on experience. The National Council of Educational RESEARCH and Training (NCERT) appreciates the hard work done by the textbook development committee responsible for this book. We wish to thank the Chairperson of the advisory group in science and mathematics, Professor J.V. Narlikar and the Chief Advisor for this book, Professor B. L. KHANDELWAL for guiding the work of this committee. |
