(d) Why did the rats come out? Where did they go? |
|
Answer» Answer: They're sometimes called the “ship rat” because they've been SPREAD around the world on ships. ... Most pet rats and lab rats are brown rats. They originally CAME from China and spread around the world later than black rats. They probably ARRIVED in Europe around the 1300S and spread worldwide in the late 1700s. Explanation: They're also known as the “ROOF rat” because they like to live in roofs. Rattus rattus is originally from India and began to live with humans more than 4,000 years ago, and slowly spread west into Europe about 3,000 years ago. Then there's the brown rat (which scientists would call Rattus norvegicus). |

A transitive verb have two type of voices i.e., the Active voice and the Passive voice. Let us UNDERSTAND the both voices by take an example: Statement 1 The hunter killed the lion. Statement 2 The lion was killed by the hunter. Actually both the sentences have same to same MEANINGS but the difference between them is that in the statement 1 subject is that person who is doing work i.e., शिकारी ने शेर को मारा । And in statement 2 the subject is that who is the receiver of the work i.e., शेर शिकारी द्वारा मारा गया ।
⇢ Verb is in active voice when the subject is doing any work. ⇢ Verb is in passive form when subject is not doing any type of work but it is receiver of work here.
The rules are given below that shows how to change and active voice to the passive voice. Let's see what are they! ⇢ The subject is changed into object and the object is changed into subject. ⇢ Verb 'be' different forms are about to use here as is, am, are, was, were, been, be, being and we have to use third form of verb always here whenever changing voice. ⇢ When we are converting subject into object then we have to use word 'by' before it but in some cases the other words are used at the pace of by like to, at, in, with etc. ⇢ If sentence, have two objects then we have to convert any one of them into subject, it is better to change the active word into subject means, the living word.
• I changes into me, we changes into us, he changes into him, she changes into her, they changes into them, his sisters changes into by his sisters. You & it never be changed
⇢ Helping verb is used before subject. ⇢ In the place of Do, does etc we have to use is, am, are and in the place of did we have to use was and were. While changing into passive voice we have to remove did, do, does. ⇢ While wh-family is given then these are not been changed and we have to use helping verb is used before subject. ⇢ Where who is given then there we have to use by whom.
⇢ When we changing active voice to passive then let, be and 3rd form of verb is used. ⇢ According to the sentence meaning we have to use You are requested, You are ordered etc. But then let and be not be used here.

report writing the youngest chess player in the cities competing in an international tournament news report writing |
|
Answer» Answer: At 12 years and 10 months, Chennai-based R Praggnanandhaa is not yet a teenager but he is already a Grandmaster, the highest title a chess player can attain. He has become the country's youngest and the world's second youngest Grand Master at the age of 12 years, 10 months and 13 days after reaching the final round of the ongoing Grenadine Open in Italy. Earlier in 2016, Praggnanandhaa became the youngest International Master at the age of 10 years, 10 months and 19 days. Winning feat Praggnanandhaa was paired with Grand Master Prujjsers Roland in the final round, which ensured that he would achieve the feat. In 2016, Praggnanandhaa became the youngest International Master at the age of 10 years, 10 months and 19 days. (Picture: Twitter/Chess Base India) After beating GM Moroni Lica JR in the eighth round, he needed to play an opponent above the rating of 2,482 in the next round to make his third GM norm. Ukraine's Serget Karjakin remains the youngest ever GM, having ACHIEVED the feat at the age of 12 years and seven months in 2002. Five-time world champion Viswanathan Anand, the country's first GM, congratulated Praggnanandhaa on his achievement. Here's what his COACH has to say Meanwhile, Pragga's coach R B Ramesh described it as a fantastic achievement. Ramesh said Praggnanandhaa had the chance to break Karjakin's record last year and did come close to making the GM norms but missed out narrowly in the end. He also said there would be greater expectations from the youngster now that he has become a GM. "Pressure is something every sportsman should learn to live with, can't complain about that," he added. Supportive mother and an equally talented sister Praggnanandhaa's father A Ramesh Babu said he was overjoyed with Pragga's achievement. "I am overjoyed. He has put in a lot of hard work. CREDIT goes to my wife, who accompanies him to the tournament and is very supportive. Due must be given to coach (Ramesh sir)," he added. Five-time world champion Viswanathan Anand, the country's first GM, congratulated Praggnanandhaa on his achievement. (Picture: Twitter/Chess Base India) Praggnanandhaa's sister Vaishali is also a WIM and has won the world under-14 and 12 titles previously. Meanwhile, V Kameswaran, India's first international arbiter, said Praggnanandhaa had developed consistently and a bright future lies ahead of him. "Becoming India's first youngest and world's second youngest GM is not all of a sudden. Though he missed becoming the World's youngest GM, his relentless chess pursuits for high honours are simply outstanding. The credit definitely goes to his parents, sister Vaishali and coach, GM R B Ramesh," he said.
