FIGURATIVE language is to a writer what a paintbrush is to an artist. That is, you can use it to take SOMETHING simple or flat and transform it into something multidimensional. Figurative language has the ability to be more impactful than literal WRITING; it can expand READERS' interpretations and broaden their imaginings. Write down the summary of poem touching by nissim Ezekiel

Answer»

rong>Answer:

SUMMARY :

Light and the sun are at the centre of these ideas, with the light breeze accompanying the ‘passing’ light. If you write a school or UNIVERSITY poetry ESSAY, you should Include in your explanation of the poem: summary of The Rest; central theme; idea of the verse; history of its creation; critical appreciation. The rest of the poem is essentially a defense of Pound, who, like Capaneus, was fighting against the unsurmountable flood of philistinism.

Owen is KNOWN for his wrenching descriptions of suffering in war. The poet is trying to say in this poem that beauty is in everything. It was a night when a scorpion bit his mother and all the superstitious villagers did irrational things rather than helping her. In this poem beauty has been defined. Like most of Owen's WORK, it was written between August 1917 and September 1918, while he was fighting in World War 1. Poem by James Schuyler begins by discussing ‘beauty that I see’, followed by a description of the sun touching the world. Summary. GOOD luck in your poetry interpretation practice! The poet says that beauty is there in everything. In this poem, the speaker is driving some kind of horse-drawn vehicle—perhaps a carriage or maybe even a sleigh—through the woods.

Write an Essay on the advantages and disadvantages of Barter system. Please give proper structure and supporting details.

Answer»

ong>Answer:

Barter can be describes as an act of trading goods and services between TWO or more than two parties without involving the use of money. Bartering is beneficial for a companies and countries that see a mutual benefit in EXCHANGING goods and services instead of cash, in addition to enabling those who are short of hard currency to obtain goods and services. The barter system is generally bilateral, but might also be multilateral, and by and large exists parallel to monetary systems in most developed countries, although to a very limited extent.

In times of monetary crises, the barter system replaces money as the mode of exchange, like when the currency might be either unstable or simply UNAVAILABLE for conducting commerce. As expressed by Investopedia, an example of barter system would be if someone built a fence for a cattle farmer in exchange for food. Instead of paying $1,000 for the fence, the farmer would RATHER give the builder a similar value in beef.

Advantages and disadvantages of Barter

Advantages

Some of the advantages of Barter system are:

It is a simple system free from the complex problems of the modern monetary system.

The problems of international trade, like foreign exchange crisis and adverse BALANCE of payments, do not exist in the barter system.

Personal and natural resources are perfectly utilized to meet the requirements of the society without involving any wastage.

Disadvantages

Besides the above mentioned advantages, there are also certain disadvantages to the system. These include:

Absence of common measure value

Money plays the role of a measure of value of all goods in a monetary economy thus being helpful in measuring their values against each other. This role might be absent in a barter economy.

Invisibility of certain goods

A barter transaction cannot occur if an individual wants to buy a certain amount of goods but only has single invisible unit of another good which is worth more than what the individual wants to obtain.

Lack of standards for deferred payments

This drawback is associated with the absence of a common measure of value, even though if the debt is denominated in units of the product or service that will be used eventually in payment, it is not a problem.

Write a letter to your grandparents about your summer holidays

Answer»

u>A letter to grandparents about summer holidays.

Uttara, Dhaka

Date : 22 SEPTEMBER, 2020

Dear dadu and dadi,

Take my love at first. HOPE that you all are well and everything is quite OKAY by the grace of Almighty Allah. How is your health? Please write me later about that. Today I am writing you about a short DESCRIPTION about my summer holidays.

On my last Summer vacation I visited to my best friend's house. There we enjoyed a lot. There I flew KITES, ate mangoes and many other seasonal fruits etc. And the most important thing is I leand how to swim. It was really amazing. You will be glad to know that I can swim very well now. We visited Sonargaon with our family members. There we saw many old buildings and crafts, arts etc. Some rides were also available there. We cooked our meal there by ourselves. Some of my friend's cousins were accompanied us. It was really a enjoyable trip. After coming from there, we visited a village. The condition of that village was not so well. So, I and some of my friends decided to do something for the village and villagers. We repaired the broken bridges, we taught the villagers about family planning and tried to educate the illiterate. It was really nice, I wish I could do more helpful things for them. All the villagers prayed for us. I hope you also will be happy after knowing this.

That's all for the day. More when we meet. Missing you both, my dearest Dadu and Dadi. If I get time, I will surely meet you. Please take care of your health, take all the medicies on time. Keep praying for me.

Your's ever,

Anika.
