Write a short story on sumner holiday on the beach |
Answer» Summer holiday had begun. Mohit was excited. His father had made arrangements for a trip to Kullu and Manali during the holiday. Preparations had started a week before. He was told that sometimes even summer nights can be quite cold if it rains, So some woollen clothes were also packed up along with other clothes. They were to leave Delhi on the night of 25th May in an airconditioned bus from ISBT, New Delhi Hotels were booked in advance. There was nothing spectacular on the night journey except that they had a reasonably good dinner at one of the dhabas at the GT Road. THINGS started changing as they approached Kullu. The Bias river and the surrounding forests and apple orchards presented a DIFFERENT but pleasant landscape. They found Manali and its surrounding simply breathtaking. They had looked at a beautiful five star RESORT overlooking the Bias River. The rooms were very spacious, neat and clean, They could OVERLOOK the river and the far-flung snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, A visit to the Vashishta Baths was really a thrilling experience. They visited the Hidimba Temple and the famous Vyas SHRINE. Many European tourists had adopted a village near the river. They were in the news for the wrong reasons. Many of them were drug addicts and hard drunkards. |

Write a dialogue between a mother and a daughter.Your dialogue should contain some important advice that the mother gives to her daughter as well as some common questions that the daughter asks her mother. |
Answer» Answer: Daughter: Good Afternoon Mom. Mother: Good afternoon. How was your day? Daughter: It was boring Mom. We had a surprise TEST of Physics in class. Mother: Then what? You did well. Didn't you? Daughter: No mom. I could not learn the lessons we do in our class. I had thought of revising them all near midterm exams. Mother: Well, that was a silly idea. Daughter: No mom. Many students do the same. I cannot get regular time to learn my daily lessons. Mother: How much time is required? Just give an hour daily. Just go through what you learn daily. Daughter: Oh mom! It's so boring. I have to learn swimming, go jogging, watch my favorite T.V serial etc. I haven't any time to study at home. Mother: That's unfair if you ignore the IMPORTANCE of daily learning. The concepts remain fresh in your mind if you revise them at home. Daughter: Then I must learn them all again near exams. Mother: That's a plus point. You will have another opportunity to clarify and revive your concepts. It will get you more MARKS in exams. Daughter: I do wish to get good marks in my final exams. Mother: Then you must devote some of your daily time to study at home. Daughter: OK mom. I am going to make a timetable to follow. Mother: That is a good idea. Now change your dress. I have PREPARED your lunch. Daughter: OK mom and thanks. Here are Some Other Dialogues |

Describe the Morning scene at mano majra |
Answer» Answer: As the setting of the novel, Mano Majra receives a great deal of attention. The town is described not only physically, but socially and religiously as well. First off, Singh describing Mano Majra as one of the remaining pockets of peace in India is key, because he’s establishing the political and religious climate readers are being thrust into. Also important is him saying that Mano Majra is a tiny town, because that helps EXPLAIN how everyone in town knows one another, and why they are all so CLOSE. He then breaks the town into religious affiliations, and explains where members of each religion predominantly live. Finally, the town’s dependance on the train to keep ORDER and time is explained. This is important, because once the political turmoil begins to impact the train schedules, life in Mano Majra begins to fall apart. Hope it HELP you |
