Two bullets are fired horizontally with different velocities from the same height. Whch will reach the ground first?A) Slower oneB) Faster oneD) It Cannot be predictedC) Both will reach simultaneously

Answer»

Since the bullets are fired horizontally from the same place, they have the same height.

The formula for Time is

t= (2H/g)^1/2.

since the acceleration (g) is also same for both the bullets they will reach the ground at the same time.

Thus, the time taken to reach the ground is independent of the initial horizontal speed of the bullets. Hence, both the bullets fired simultaneously in the horizontal direction from the same height will reach the ground simultaneously.

Answer»
12513.

CTTotne Wire or a short onE(b) a thick piece of nichrome wire or a thin pieceoes the resistance of a pure metal change if its temperature decrease

Answer»

In pure metals the resistance of the substance increases with the increase in it's temperature. The increase is large and fairly regular for normal ranges of temperature. ... And thus insulators are said to be in negative temperature coefficient of resistance

Resistivity is the resistance of any metal of 1m3 cross section area AND 1m length.

Resistivity= R×A/L

Where R is resistance of conductor,A is the cross section area and L is the length of conductor.

We know that , R is directly proportional to temperature. So is temperature increases then resistance increases.

So this will result in increase in resistivity too.

Hence onincreasing temperature result in increase in resistivity.

explain the importance of character and habits in evaluation of morality of human life

Answer»

Habit reinforces virtue. It also reinforces vice. Good habits build you up and take you higher and higher. Bad habits tear you down and take you lower and lower. - Character formation takes place in steps: Step 1. One intellectually embraces a virtue such as honesty. Step 2. One sets up and cultivates habits in the virtue that reinforce and enhance the virtue. - one sees the merits and value of Honesty and Integrity, cultivates habits in the same, and becomes more and more entrenched in the way of Honesty and Integrity. It becomes a pronounced personality trait. - one sees the merits and value of the Way of Thought and Reflection, sets up habits in the same, becomes more and more entrenched in the Way of Thought and Reflection, and it becomes a pronounced personality trait. - one becomes intellectually convinced that the only way to survive in this hard life is the Way of Dishonesty and Deceit, sets up habits in the same, becomes more and more entrenched in this way, and it becomes a pronounced personality trait.

The actual speed ofthe rain is in km per hour):(2006 E)4) 61) 32) 43) 5

Answer»

Given in the question :-

Here |v | = 5 km/hr.

u = ?

θ = 60°

φ = 30°

We know, by the formula

tanφ = usin60° / (v + u cos 60°)

tan 30° = ( u × √3/2 ) / ( v + u/2 )

3/2 u = 5 + u/2

3/2 u - u/2 = 5

u = 5 km/hr

The actual speed of the rain is 5 km/hr

why are rain drops are sphericalin shape12:18

Answer»

Raindrops start to form in a roughly spherical structure due to the surface tension of water. This surface tension is the "skin" of a body of water that makes the molecules stick together. The cause is the weak hydrogen bonds that occur between water molecules. On smaller raindrops, the surface tension is stronger than in larger drops. The reason is the flow of air around the drop.

As the raindrop falls, it loses that rounded shape. Flattened on the bottom and with a curved dome top, raindrops are anything but the classic tear shape. The reason is due to their speed falling through the atmosphere.Even as a raindrop is falling, it will often collide with other raindrops and increase in size. Once the size of a raindrop gets too large, it will eventually break apart in the atmosphere back into smaller drops. This time, the surface tension loses and the large raindrop ceases to exist. Instead it pulls apart when it grows to around 4 millimeters or more.

Raindropstake upthe spherical shapedue tothesurface tension of water which is caused due tothetendency of water molecules to stick together.The spherical shapeis havingtheleast possible surface area due to which it can resist any oftheexternal force intheatmosphere.
