2. science in your daily lifeScience has influenced each and every aspect of man’s life. Wonders of science are uncountable. Machines and gadgets invented and made with the help of science are ubiquitous. There is not a single moment in man’s life that is without machines and gadgets.

Can man imagine living without science even for a moment? The truth is NO! Machines, gadgets, vehicles, smart-phones, tabs, laptops, ac, blower, geyser, and whatnot, science makes man’s life convenient, comfortable, and comfortable.

Computers, internet, IT revolution, E-governance, smart-cities, smart-classes, digitization of economy, advanced medication, online learning, ACs, heaters, TVs, comfortable cars, buses, trains, aero planes, and many more, all are gifts of science to mankind.

Science is helping man unravel the mysteries of the universe. Science is helping man find cure for deadly diseases. Science has the potential to solve all of man’s problems and challenges provided it is put to right use. But this potential is not being explored. Man is busy misusing science. For example, our planet earth has so much of Uranium, Thorium, Plutonium, etc. that if used optimally, abundant power can be generated for all the people living in all the countries of the planet.

All the problems pertaining to pollution, environmental degradation, etc. can be solved using science. All the cities of the world can be converted into smart cities using science; all the vehicles that emit toxic gases can be converted into zero emission vehicles using science; all the sewage, garbage, effluents, toxic fumes coming out of chimneys can be turned into non-polluting substances using science. However this is being done only in the most advanced countries of the world.

Man should use science only for the welfare of mankind.

write a letter to your friend about your daily life

Answer»

Dear friend (friend name),

I hope you are well by the grace of the Almighty. I am well too. Please convey my regards to your parents. It’s been long since I received your last letter. So I have thought of writing this letter.

I am writing this letter to share with you how I spend my daily life. My daily lifestyle is very simple. But it is balanced, in my view. I get up very early in the morning and sip some tea. Then I go out for morning walk. After returning, I go out for tuition in Maths. When I get home, I sit down for some studies until 8:30 am. Then I take bath and go for school. After the school is over, I take lunch and go out for playing. At about 6 pm I sit for studying and continue till 9 pm. Then I watch TV and have meal. After that I study a little more and go to bed. This is my daily life. I hope you shall share yours too.

Yours,

(your name)

-Enlist the steps of insect moulting.?

Answer»

In molting, the epidermis separates from the outermost cuticle. Then, the epidermis forms a protective layer around itself and secretes chemicals that break down the insides of the old cuticle. That protective layer becomes part of the new cuticle. When the epidermis has formed the new cuticle, muscular contractions and air intake cause the insect’s body to swell, thus splitting open the remains of the old cuticle. Finally, the new cuticle hardens. The bug squeezes out from the outgrown exoskeleton.

The insect must continue to swell and expand the new cuticle, so it is large enough to allow room for more growth. The new overcoat is soft and much paler than the former one, but over a few hours, it becomes darker and begins to harden. Within a few days, the insect appears to be a slightly larger copy of its former self.

His father said that Abdul had to go a long way in life just like a seagull bird which flies long distances. He calmed down APJ’s reluctant mother by quoting Kahlil Gibran’s poem ‘Your children’.
