How can the Story of helen keller inspire others?\xa0

Answer» Ans. The life story of a deaf and blind person makes for an inspirational read because it bears testimony to the powers of the human will and endurance in the face of adversities. It is the account of a human being\'s exceptional powers of perseverance which enables the person to overcome all odds to triumph in life.Helen Keller could neither see nor hear but her achievements belie her physical limitations. Her intellectual capabilities and aesthetic sensibilities could not be constrained by her physical disadvantages, her thirst for knowledge was unquenchable and her love of life, human or natural, boundless. It is interesting and inspiring to read the story of her life because she triumphed against all adversities with grace and learned from her mistakes. Nothing could stop her from charting the course of her life which is a lesson for us in overcoming our obstacles. She took life in her stride and strove towards progress. There is a lot to learn from even reading about a person without the powers of vision or hearing but looks at life in such a positive manner. It is easy to complain or give up, the real test lies in enduring and continuing until we win.The greatness in her personality stemmed from the desire to overcome all that obstructed her path to progress. She was determined to succeed and she did, this is what makes her tale an inspiring story

Write the Charactersketch of bholi .

Answer» Bholi’s real name was Sulekha but she was called Bholi, the simpleton as she was a backward child. She was the fourth daughter of Numberdar Ramlal who had seven children. Bholi remained a backward child due to an injury in her head when she was ten months old. She was fair and pretty at birth but when she was two years old, she had an attack of smallpox which left deep black marks all over her body. She started speaking only when she turned five but she stammered when she spoke and as a result she was always mimicked or made fun of by the other children. Therefore, Bholi talked very little. Unlike Ramlal’s other children, she was not healthy and strong. She was frightened at first when her father wanted to take her to school. But when she was bathed and given new clothes to wear, she began to believe that she was being taken to a place better than her home. Bholi did not know what exactly a school was and what happened there, but when she saw girls like her present there, she was glad. She hoped that one of those girls would become her friend. In the class when her teacher asked her name, she tried to say but the girls started laughing when she stammered.

However, the Poem has a lot deeper aspect of Morality, ranging from treatment of Animals and Nature to the darkness of technology (as this poem was written during the Industrial Revolution and is part of the Romanticist backlash against it )

Answer» Ans. In Anne\'s opinion, one should not think about the all the misery that is there in the world but about the beauty that still remains. Her advice was to go outside, to the country, enjoy the sun and all that nature had to offer. The cure for misery lay in going outside and trying to recapture the happiness within oneself, think of all the beauty that resided within and in everything around us. What is the central theme of the poem ozymandias\xa0

Answer» Ans. The poem is about the futility of arrogance. Worldly power will die with you and eventually time will destroy every mark you have ever made on the world. The giant statue was the king\'s attempt at immortal fame but it is broken and only the legs remain. The writing on the monument is the only thing that survives, its message has become the opposite of what was intended but is still correct. The mighty should despair at the total destruction of his empire as it shows their future. It could be significant that language (the inscription) survives when everything else is destroyed.
