Answer» In case of sodium metal ETHANOL and ethanoic acid both will SHOW changes but in case of SOAP there would be no change as it SELF it is a sodium salt. And for litmus test ethanoic acid will turn blue litmus RED , ethanol will be neutral and for soap solution it will be basic or i should say it will turn red litmus blue
