Answer :-

→ 1 and 9

Explanation :-

We have

→ x² - 10x + 9 = 0

Step (1) :-

→ Firstly divide whole Equation by coefficient of x² . ( this step has DONE )

Step (2) :-

Firstly , replace of constant term to right side

→ x² - 10x = -9

Step (3) :-

Now complete the Square by adding any constant term in both sides.

→ x² - 10x + (5)² - (5)² = -9

→ x² + (5)² - 10x - 25 = -9

→ x² + (5)² - 10x = -9 + 25

→ x² + (5)² - 10x = 16

→ (x - 5)² = 16

Case (1) :-

→ (x - 5) = 4

→ x = 9

Case (2) :-

→ x - 5 = -4

→ x = 1
