Answer» A electric motor works on the principle of converting electrical energy into mechanical energy.It consists of a iron core which is coiled by a copper wire.When electricity is passed through it electrical field is formed and magnetic field is formed which results in rotating of the coiled iron rod.This creates a continuous movement in the motor.
