Answer» form rainbow in classroom by using a prism . Place the prism in front of an open window . Due to the sunlight, one can observe the dispersion of light through the prism. This light gets DISPERSED into 7 COLOURS of rainbow.During or after the rainfall, tiny water droplets are present in the sky , which acts like tiny prisms. So, when sunlight falls on these droplets , it refracts at the INTERFACE of the surface of the DROPLET. This is due to atmospheric refraction. Again the refracted ray reflects internally in the droplet. And , again the reflected rays emerges out of the droplet to form 7 constituent colours.
