Write character sketch of mmaurad |
| Answer» The narrator’s cousin, Mourad, had inherited the streak of adventurous and crazy behaviour found in each generation of his tribe. He seemed to have inherited this wild streak from his Uncle Khosrove. Actually, Mourad did things that more conventional persons never thought of doing: whereas his tribe was famous for its honesty and integrity, he stole a horse so as to satisfy his longing for riding. Moreover, while enjoying that illicit pleasure [of riding a stolen horse], when he should have been careful to avoid detection, Mourad actually started singing at the top of his voice. Furthermore, he believed he had a way with animals and people and could get away with things, which ultimately proved to be true. | |
