Answer» The most important principle of Indian foreign policy is non- alignment. It means detachment from any military bloc and solving all international problems through mutual co-operation and peaceful methods. After the II World War, the world was divided into two military blocs, one led by USA and another by USSR. Many countries of the world became the allies of these two military blocs. But India was not aligned to any of the military blocs. India was the first country to speak of non alignment and major contributor to the emergence of Non-Align Movement. India, Yugoslavia, Indonesia, Egypt, and Ghana were the original supporters of the movement. |
