Answer» Ambedkar School Celebrates Independence Day Function Nayala, 16 August : India shattered the fetters of slavery on 15 August, 1947. It is a gala day. It is celebrated throughout the country on 15 August every year. It is a national festival. All the students, members of the staff and the Principal of Ambedkar school celebrated the Independence Day Function. Students stood in rows in front of the flag post. The Principal unfurled the national flag. All clapped again and again. The tri-colour was waving in air with pride. All sang the national anthem. The principal delivered a speech emphasising on our responsibilities to our motherland. Some students recited patriotic poems. The function was over at 10 a.m. |
