Dear Rhea,

Hey! How have you been? Thanks a lot for the last letter you sent! I had a blast reading it. It was pretty interesting to know how you've been coping with online lectures and quarantine all this while, and how different both of us were accomodating ourselves to it.

Though the shift from live classes to online classes was immediate and unexpected, it was pretty refreshing to go from traditional classes to online classes. It was relieving to know that I didn't have to board the school bus and nearly spend two hours on the journey to school and back home. It's just very convenient and flexible to learn and carry out activities at the comfort of your own house. These classes provide all of us an opportunity to make discussions student-centred and INTERACTIVE, which is something not all of us could accomplish offline. It's also pretty easy to obtain study materials and RESOURCES online and refer to them instantly without having to skim through pages and books just to understand one line. It's also pretty cool to submit work through Google classrooms and get rewarded points for it and get feedback from classmates. But at the same time, it does get hard to pay ATTENTION during class with all the distractions around. I could easily browse something on another tab and the instructor would have no idea. Besides that, operating classes online becomes a tedious job when one's facing connectivity issues and problems with the DEVICE used. Moreover, prolonged uses of devices during online classes, combined with the time we usually spend online can be severely damaging to our physical and mental well-being.

I heard from your sister that you were facing some issues with your vision due to your increased screen-time, hope you're doing alright now! That's all I had to say, hope that your parents and your sister are in the best of their spirits, sending good vibes your way!

Yours lovingly,

Jane.
