Answer» 7 Ranjeet Nagar Subject: Regarding the enormous increase in the prices of essential commodities Sir, Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I want to draw the attention of the Government that in few days the prices of essential commodities have risen so high. Sometimes, the hoarders try to create artificial scarcity of the articles of daily use. It has now become very difficult for middle-class people to meet their needs. The poor are somehow trying to make both ends meet. Life, at this age, has become very expensive. I, therefore, request the government officials to keep a strict watch on the hoarders, profiteers, smugglers and black-marketeers so that they may not make the situation worse. Marketing Inspectors should be instructed to make a raid on the stores of the hoarders. Yours faithfully |
