Answer» (1) In the hypothalamus, there are several groups of neurosecretory cells which form different nuclei. (2) These hypothalamic nuclei are supraoptic, paraventricular, dorso-median and ventromedian nuclei. These neurosecretory cells produce releasing and inhibiting factors.
